Bausch & Lomb Muro 128 5% Opthalmic Solution 1 fl oz (30ml)

I have had dry eyes for 15 years, and have always used various drugs and remedies to treat my symptoms. I have been prescribed muro in the past by various opthalmologists, however due to my negative reactions to the ointment, I have largely avoided this product. Recently, I decided to try it again and discovered that it was in opthalmic solution form. I decided to try it out since I knew I would have a better experience. Sure enough, this stuff is amazing! I'm so glad I finally found something that will lend me some relief throughout the day in addition to the night.

My Eye Doctor prescribed Muro 128 over a year ago. It is helping my cornea disease. I was buying it at Walmart Pharmacy but they often did not stock it. I checked other drug stores and the price was pretty expensive. I checked Amazon and found that I could get two bottles for what I was paying at Walmart. Ships fast and saves me money. What is not to like.

I've got recurrent corneal erosion, so every now and then my eye lid adheres to my cornea, then rips off part of the cornea when I open my eye or if I enter REM sleep. Which sucks, it's super painful. Seems obvious, right?Been trying to treat it ineffectively with lubricating drops for years. Doesn't work. These Muro 128 drops actually work though. Have had very, very few erosion events in the last year since I started using these drops. This 1 fl oz. bottle is MASSIVE, so keep that in mind. It's a monster. But it should last a while, and again - it works.

I was doing a search looking for the Muro 128 ointment, which was recommended to me by my opthalmalogist, when I came across this product. I had no idea they made it in a drop form! The cost seems expensive at first, but when I compare it to the cost of Alaway, which has worked for me before when my eyes are burning and blurry during the day (and the fact that I'd need about 4-5 drops of Alaway to achieve this!) this is definitely worth it.As others have said, yes, it will burn when you first put these drops in. You truly only need the 1-2 drops per eye for it to be effective, and the burning does not last long. What does last long is the relief that these drops provide.If you are like me, and use the ointment, and can only use the ointment at night (since having a vaseline like substance all over your eyeball is not conducive to being productive) these are AMAZING to have on hand for first thing in the morning or during the day.

Great product to control swelling of the eye. Cleared up blurry vision so now it is easier to read. I appreciate the larger size for a lower price per once. Delivered on time.

I have been using this product for quite a few years but I decided to switch from a national drug store for purchase to Amazon when I realized there was such a dollar difference in the price. In this day and time I try to watch where I spend our money.The product - no matter where you get it is great. It burns for a second when first dropped in the eyes but only for a moment. I didn't realize that "dry eyes" caused bad vision but when my eye Dr. gave me a sample to try and I saw the difference - well, I knew what I had to do. So, if you are troubled with dry eyes, try this product. I've recommended it to my bridge friends and they feel the same way. Good luck.Pat M

Is doing what it is suppose to do - so says my Doctor

My doctor suggested that I buy this on Amazon because it is so much cheaper there than at a drug store. Yes, that is accurate but the product itself irritated my eyes so bad that it was a waste of money since I only used it about 3 times before I gave up on it.
