Don’t do them up too tight or they will easily break. Some movement is required between the tree and the stake. These are just over 9 inches long and are holding some small apple trees to their stages very well.These are not the strongest ties but are doing the job ok at the moment on my new apples. Used correctly these will be fine for small trees and shrubs.

Strong, bendable and easy to use.
These are great. Soft and strong, bendable and easy to fit together to make the tree tie long enough. As they are so wide ,they won't cut in to the tree as wire would. They are also reusable. I would recommend these.
