Schlage Lock SC620B3 2 x 11 Bright Brass Finish Slot / Magazine

The mail slot was just what I was looking for! I had a hard time finding one in polished brass at a reasonable price, and I was thrilled when I saw this seller only wanted $15 for it, shipping included. The only problem was that the package had been opened, and there were no screws. I contacted the seller, and before I knew it, the screws arrived in the mail, but there were only four, and I needed eight. Contacted the seller again, and he sent the other four right away! The mail slot looks brand new and will serve my purposes well! And extra stars for the seller!!

Arrived as advertised. Once installed, the door would not open fully but I consider it helping with the security of item.

unfortunately it's way too big for the slot in the door. I may have to return it. it's very nice though for the price. compared to home depot and lowe's it was the at least $10 less.

This WAS a beautiful mail slot but within 1 month it is rusting! I cannot believe it! Will not return it but will try to paint it. Rust on the sides also. I live in Southern Florida so maybe the humidity got to it but still for $45 it should withstand the heat.

I was concerned that there would be a lot of air infiltration on windy days, but the exterior flap is weighted and stays shut very well. The finish is shiny and has held up well for the last month or so. Very pleased with the purchase.

Not the easiest slot to install, thanks to the spring mechanism tha closes the outside flap. Otherwise it looks fine.

This was easy to install with the template supplied. No screws come with it since they don't know how thick your wall or door is.

OK product made of brass, relatively thin sheet brass, but looks good. We shall see how long it lasts.
