Based on review, I thought size purchased would be good. Nope. Too big. My dog is a chunk for her breed but she swims in this one.

The towel is too big for my medium dog to wear as a bathrobe. I have a standard schnauzer and the length of her back is in-between the medium and small sizes. I ordered the medium and it's huge on her, so now I will try the small. The towel itself seems like it will work well, but I have not tried using it yet as I need to return it to get the smaller size.

I love these robes for my pups. The fabric is great (I've bought others that caused so much static I couldn't use them). That said, they run VERY LARGE. They are definitely a Large Dog item. My dogs are about 15lbs, typically wear a medium. I bought smalls and they're too big. That said, I'm definitely keeping them. They're great quality and easy to fashion on your pup.

I bathe my dogs frequently. I definitely needed an after bath covering to protect my walls and furniture. The material is way too thin and it ties with a sash instead of quick Velcro around the body. My dogs shake off before I can even awkwardly tie the robe around them. Then they simply wiggle out of it once it is tied.The hood is pointless.

Ordered a small for my 14 pound Chinese Crested since he shivers after a bath. Thought I’d put this on him as he ran around afterward but it’s so big he can’t move. It should fit my friend’s 25 pound, long legged pup perfectly!

We have a huge black lab mix - about 100 lbs. he has extremely long, think fur that takes forever to dry (usually 24 hours even after we towel him off and sometimes use the leaf blower).Have only used this robe once and it was really absorbent and saved my floors from being soaked. He was almost completely dry after wearing the robe for 4-5 hours. Also he looks SO CUTE.Will be buying another for our other lab!

We bathe our 110 lb. dog inside. I was always concerned about the mess when pup shook (several times) after her bath. This robe is amazing!!!! Easy to put on, and difficult for pup to take off. I leave it on until she is done shaking, then hang it to dry for next time. The added benefit is that she looks adorable in it! The robe is well made and plenty large enough for our gentle giant! :)

This is perfect for after a bath and your dog isn't dried too well!

I have a Bernese Mountain Dog and this robe saved both myself and my house from the typical flood as he shakes his body after the bath!100 % recommend!… if nothing else your pupper will look super adorable! ❤️🐾

It is well made and cozy and arrived quickly. My only issue was that I received a size M when I ordered size S. The return is already in the process and I will reorder the size Small
