Good quality range bag.
I just received this bag. For me it will be a range bag. I read every single review before making my purchase. I shoot a minimum of 500 rounds out of each pistol I take with me to the range on Saturdays and Sundays. So at a minimum that's 3 pistols and 1500 rounds. Quite a bit of weight. I also carry with me any additional equipment and supplies I may need. I'm on the range from 10am to 5pm each day. Additionally I recover several pounds of brass before leaving. I carry brass in a separate bag that it itself carried in my "range bag". I want to be able to do all of this in as small a bag as possible and reduce bulk and minimize unused/unnecessary space. This bag had some pretty rough reviews. I was hesitant and very apprehensive. I mean $27 bucks for a bag that will need to be functional and last under heavy usage? Nah. Won't happen. I haven't taken it out to the range yet but I loaded it up and it feels very sturdy. I built a foam support and devider inside to keep my pistols from rattling around and marring their finished which may add to the rigidity but the bag feels good in hand. Stiching isn't doubled in all places but seems to be so in all the right places. The fabric is heavier than it looks in the photos. Think carhart jacket fabric. Inside its lined with a type of rubber coating that seems to be an attempt at water proofing. My only regret is having not gotten a bag one size larger. All in all I would recommend this bag. I am not a paid or compensated reviewer of thus product just a normal guy. If the bag holds up the 5 stars will remain intact. If the company wants to send me a size bigger for this outstanding review I'll be happy to review that one too.

Good Bag
It has plenty of room to keep things organized. It has a large main compartment in which I was able to put a hard hat with a headlamp on it, a leather notepad, and safety goggles. In the front pockets, I have a tape measure, a digital recorder, and a pair of safety glasses. In one of the side pockets, I have a pair of leather work gloves, a pair of cotton work gloves, and a pair of heavy-duty winter work gloves. Attached to the shoulder strap I attached a large hard case with a half-face respirator. The only problem I had was that it has a peculiar odor to it. Otherwise, it's a great bag and very sturdy and well-made.

Great quality, perfect size, very durable, fast shipping
I'm a range instructor and I bought this as a give away for one of my classes. The lady who won this bag still uses it to this day and it's still in great shape. She loves the amount of room and number of compartments it has. I was happy with the quality of the bag and the size and number of compartments as well. Highly recommend as a range bag for anyone who wants to organize their tools and ammo as they head out on the range

15" Tactical Duffel Bag is OK
The NexPak 15" Tactical Duffel Range Bag seems well made, and sturdy enough for my uses. I don't use it for its advertised purpose, but rather as an all-around utility bag for my electrical and wiring components. Previously, I had been using a slightly smaller (14") canvas bag with no pockets, which eventually wore out, so I consider this a step up. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and thickness of the fabric, much better than my old bag, and the stitching is neatly done and looks strong (only time will tell). In fact, I wouldn't hesitate to use this bag as an aircraft carry-on duffel, if need be. It even has the "piggy-back slip band" on the back which allows you to attach it to the extending handle of a rolling suitcase so it can be carried on top of the suitcase. Nice touch. The zippers are plastic, and there is no way to tell how they will hold up with repeated use over time. I've had both good and bad experiences with similar zippers, but these do operate smoothly and look substantial. The two end pockets are zippered, as is a shallow front pocket, as can be seen in the listing, but none of these are lockable. The top main compartment zipper has two pulls which can meet in the middle, but on the bag that I received, all of the zipper pulls are just knotted cord, not the metal (or plastic) pulls that are shown in the listing photos and that I am used to seeing in these applications. The corded pulls are easily replaced, of course, but they also easily come loose and get lost. The ends also have additional open slim pockets with a Velcro closure, above which are loops that allow me to secure small items like screwdrivers or wire cutters securely. the two front pockets with the strap closures use plastic snap-buckles, and pretty small compartments, but are useable to carry small items loosely that might otherwise be lost in the big main compartment. For the price, I am satisfied with this bag. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap, and the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that all of the loops shown in the listing photos as well as the shoulder strap loops and clips are plastic instead of metal, which I consider to be a weak point, and the corded pulls on the zippers are a bit of a disappointment.

Cost effective choice for average monthly shooter
I like his range bag. Seems appear to be constructed well after about a dozen times to th range and back. Pros are good construction, multiple well size side pockets and fair sized main compartment for a small bad. All at a very fair price. Cons, it's a smaller bag, no slots for mags, while it's constructed well, the canvas is thinner than more expensive bags. I will tell you it's a LOT better than using a gym bag! If you shoot once a month, this is cost effective. If you're an avid or pro shooter, not so much. This bag is large enough for my small target scope, 3 or 4 medium hand guns, 300 rounds of boxed ammo, targets, cleaning kit, small tool kit and I still have room left over after I put 2 sets of eye protection and over ear hearing protection. You could double the safety gear with some room to spare. I recommend that you keep your load light to get more life out of the bag. But that's just my opinion.

Great Looking And Functional!
In preparation for a camping trip, I recently bought 3 NexPak tactical duffles (two 18" and one 22"). One had to be returned due to an improperly sewn zipper, so you should carefully check the stitching & zippers upon receipt. The return was easy and the replacement bag is perfect. These are very good-looking duffle bags and capable of carrying heavy loads, so I believe they would work for tactical gear. I use one 18" for a tool bag & the other for storing all my pickup truck packing gear (heavy ratchet straps, tow straps, axle straps, carabiners & snap-hooks, rope & bungees, etc.) I like these bags a lot. The quality control is interesting because the bags vary in terms of rope or plastic zipper pulls, where the labels are sewn, and where the straps are sewn. The end pockets only have 1 zipper and should have 2. The side buckle pockets look good but have no closing device other than the buckle, so small items could easily fall out. The top flap opening has 2 zippers and is perfect for accessing the bag. I have personalized my bags with a Sharpie, and the camo fabric holds the ink without barely any bleeding. I have NOT received any compensation for this honest product review.

Thin material
Itโs made out of very thin material and thin plastic backing- not the best quality, Iโll probably go back to my old bag

Average quality
Average quality will see how it holds up. Price is right. Lot of pouches and zippers to organize smaller items.

Top notch duffle bag
These duffle bags are top notch. They serve well as a duty bag, having many compartments, hold a large amount of weight, are well made and have many colours to choose from.
