Great choice for humidors and love them to replace those water retention things which always fall apart. Really good at regulating humidity. Make sure you research the size and humidity percent that is suitable for your humidor. I'm glad I bought a box because I have three humidors and I can service them now on a schedule no muss no fuss. I never have to worry about my cigars and whether they’re sitting in the right humidity when I have Boveda packs in there with them. Easy to fit into a bag or humidor. Keeps everything at a steady humidity level. Never have any leaks. And I keep the 12 pack on me so I can grab one on the go any time. I always trust my cigars are good.

The 84% Boveda packs worked perfectly to re season my humidor. I dropped 6 of them in and let them do their thing for a couple of weeks. I replaced them with 6 72% packs, since my humidor is large and not totally sealed, and the result is a steady 67% humidity. I actually prefer it to be around 65%, but I just dry box my smokes for a couple of hours before enjoying them. The simplicity of using the Boveda packs takes all the maintenance guesswork out of the process. I keep a couple Govee BT hygrometers in the humidor and check in on them a couple of times a week. Couldn't be happier with the setup!!

I love the humidity control packs for keeping my cigars at their prime humidity. But they have shipped my last two orders in bags instead of boxes. Of course they had been crushed and had a few packs squished. Just make sure you request shipping in a box. Other than this problem it is a great value for the money and your quality smokes will appreciate it.

This is an excellent no fuss product that easily does what it says to effectively maintain my cigars in tip top condition. A must have for people who appreciate fine cigars. Well worth the expense. It works as advertised. Automatically and seamlessly reduces and/or increases humidity as needed at the humidity level written on pouch. In fact I can use the product to verify humidity readings on my humidity gauge when I use the correct number of pouches for the humidor type and quantity of cigars. No more messy liquid containers in my humidor.

Having read that the optimum humidity for cigar storage is 65 degrees and excess of 75 degrees ruins them, I calibrated several digital hygrometers. Then tried several methods: the “Green foam” with distilled water that most humidors come with (unsatisfactory) and the transparent beads with PPG (marginal). As an occasional cigar smoker, aware that some cigars could end-up being stored for several years and thereby ruined by unsuitable humidity, I kept experimenting and chanced upon Boveda. To my delight the Boveda packs do exactly what they say on the box. They keep cigars at the desired humidity. Care needs to be taken: Most humidors are im-perfect and let in outside air, some more than others. Therefore you’ll need to carefully follow manufacturer’s instructions, not least first “seasoning” the humidor. Having done that, the packs work great and are recommended. Of course, in a leaky humidor you may have to compensate: A calibrated hygrometer showing 62 degrees with a 65 pack would mean the humidor is “leaking” 3 degrees humidity. In which case, perhaps the next up (69) is the right pack to generate a “real” 66. Some experimentation is in order. As an aside, being somewhat concerned that placing a Boveda pack on top of cigars may not be elegant (although approved by the manufacturer) I purchased a Spanish cedar “cage” that can hold 2 or 4 Boveda packs, also made by Boveda, that magnetically adheres to the a humidor’s lid.
