Works well for the price. The red non slip sleeve slipped off in the first use, but it holds strong and the ribbed adjustment knob makes it easy to spin with gloves on.

Thas item has great holding power, 1/4 turn of the adjustment screw makes the difference between being able to lock them or not!! However the side load is terrible, they have a 1/4" of wiggle side to side...

I used these to assist in installing T & G ceiling boards. They open wide enough to clamp on a beam and then to press against one end of the board to hold it in position while I nailed the other end in place. Great time saver and I’m sure that it’ll be useful for many projects around the house!

The actual handle becomes loose after a few uses but it still does it's job

Usually buy Irwin, not anymore, these are a high quality product and the release lever is so easy to release clamps, the adjustment screw has a nut that can lock the clamps, no having to readjust the clamps after releasing them two or three times

This was my first stronghand clamp... And so far I'm a little disappointed! For starters is was bent right out of the box! It looks and feels tough, and time will tell how well the quick release holds up. So, here's a comparison to the Irwin vise grip clamp, the Milwaukee clamps, and a cheap brand - the TEKTON clamp, and the first major thing that matters to most people is the opening size when not clamped.From clamped (with nothing in them) to open, the Strong Hand clamp is a 1-1/4" minus difference, so the jaw opening is 1-1/4" minus. The TEKTON was a good 1/8" bigger giving it a solid 1-3/8" opening, and the Irwin has an awesome 2-3/8" + opening capacity making it basically twice as big as the Strong Hand.Irwin (and the Milwaukee) have always been my 2 first choice clamps, (I didn't have a pair of the Milwaukee with me when writing this review, but having used them a lot I know they open about the same as the Irwin) with the Irwin taking a slight lead because the Milwaukee get stuck open frequently, which can be very irritating while in 1 handed use. The TEKTON feel and perform very similar to the Irwin, with the exception of the opening size. And the Strong Hand, well, they're heavier, bulkier (measuring about 1-1/4" longer than both the Irwin and the TEKTON,) and apparently they come from the factory bent. As fas as longevity, I don't know how long they hold up yet.

Best clamp I've ever used being this style. Everyone is use to the reliable vise grip brand. This clamp has better clamping force and finish. More options with the lock nut. Bought a couple more after using it. My go to brand. Nice job stronghand tools

Ordered this product as a new item. What I received was a used clamp with original cut up packaging. Product is also out of alignment very disappointed in what I received.

Bought to hold pieces of metal together while tack welding, holding metal to jigs and right angle brackets. I have 2 , wouldn't be without them now. I regularly spray them liberally with anti spatter spray to avoid them picking up spatter particularly on the threaded adjustment bolt.

From the polished steel handle to the extra thick steel used in the construction these are a superb quality tool. I expected these will take a ton of abuse before anything ever goes wrong with them. The easy release is just icing on the cake! Great price, great tool, what more can you ask for?
