The color is beautiful!

This is the worst! It's super thin and very messy. It stains anything it touches... except for your lips! You end up looking like you used a very bright lip liner. It stains your skin along the edges of your lips, but not your lips. Don't waste your money!

Being a liquid, and especially a dark one, this has to be applied with care. The first times I used it, it would leave color on glasses, tissues etc. It also looked very patchy since my lips were a little chapped. Since, I have learned to apply it in 3x very thing coats and let it dry completely between each coat. That way I have long lasting, even color that doesn't smudge. My lips haven't been chapped since so it's hard to say if it would still be patchy but I think applying it in layers also helps with this. It's definitely not an easy quick process but taking your time is worth it if you want this to look good. Other wise, don't bother.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Let it dry and then cover it with a waxy lip product like the Sephora lip primer, and it lasts all day!

Love this lip dye. Doesn't stay on as long as Lip Ink but not as expensive either.

Great concept but the color is much darker in real life, and it doesn't stain the lips uniformly. After a few hours of eating or drinking, I look like all I put on was lip liner ala the early 2000s...not a look I care to emulate in 2018. On the bright side, it is comfortable and doesn't needlessly dry my lips out.

I ordered this product as my usual shade of non-transferable lip stain had been discontinued. I find the NYX Lip Dye to be thinner than my old lip stain, which makes it slightly more difficult to apply easily, and it takes longer to dry. It also does not last as long as my old brand. That said, the NYX product is non-transferrable, which is what I want.
