Great product!!
Great product, have had them on all of my rifles, including my 14 lb M14 DMR build with a TAB Gear biathlon sling, and of course my lighter rifles on Magpul slings. Never had a rifle muzzle hit the ground, lol. But be careful of anything is obstructing it, like ig the cup is too deep or the like. And always, always tug for safety. Think of it like a falling harness for your gun. Nobody ever attaches a safety rope without giving it a tug for assurance.

Exactly what I wanted
These worked really well for my stock. Drill, tap, epoxy and thread them in for a nice qd attachment for your sling.

Works for a guitar too!
I was trying to think of something to use rather than regular guitar strap buttons because I didn't want them poking out of the body when I remembered that there are all kinds of quick detach rifle sling swivels. These ones inspired more confidence than cheaper alternatives and I was guessing this sort of ball bearing push button mechanism needs a tight enough tolerance to operate smoothly that I'd want to buy something that looked higher quality. And these ones are great! They are very smooth going in and out, swivel smoothly, and are very secure. I cleaned off the grease they were packaged with and put a bit of light machine oil on the button and bearings and they have been exactly what I was hoping for.

These work but you should know the flush cups are 360 rotation
The install went well on my Bell & Carlson stock using 1/2 a forstner bit and 9/16 18 tap. The only downside is the 360 rotation twists my sling all to hell. What a PITA. I'd replace them but I JB welded them into my stock. I'm currently trying to figure out how to stop the rotation. I tried to JB weld a dot in the ball bearing grove but it just breaks free. I may have to find someone to micro weld a dot in the groove. I give this 4 stars because it's my fault for not noticing this has a 360 rotation.

Must have for the LUTH-AR Stock! Solid Performance!
Perfect for the LUTH-AR MBA-1 and 2. I used a large metric hex wrench that fit perfectly in the bottom, lined it up straight, and took it slow. The swivel housing went right in--no need to tap it first as it cuts its own threads going in. I have both an MBA 1&2 and decided to split the pack, since i am right handed and am too cheap to screw these in the off side if I dont intend to use them there. They cinch down TIGHT making for a secure QD base for the included swivel. Heck, the quality of these swivels is worth the price of admission alone! They are SOLID! The whole package is a fantastic deal. I got a swivel and a SOLID base for $10 a piece. What more could I ask?

Perfect fit for my LUTH-AR MBA 3!
For those of you looking at this item for your LUTH-AR MBA 1-3 this is a perfect match. It need to be threaded in upside down first (hollow side toward the stock) then back it out and thread in the normal way. If you try to install it the direction it will be used first it won't grip and could strip out your stock. Make sure that you only screw it down to flush!!! Any further and the swivel will not be able to lock into place! Other than that, the pieces are strong and well made and it comes with 2 push-button swivels and 2 bases. So you can set up your stock for both left and right-handed shooting or use one of the push-button swivels for the front rail system. Great purchase!

mucho goodo
1/2 inch drill bit . . 9/16. .18 tap all that is required . . I have installed 3 of these on polymer stocks and I love them. . if you are installing on anything polymer start with a tiny bit and work your way up bit by bit until you get to 1/2 in. once at 1/2 in. turn the bit by hand with a pair of pliers it is not hard . otherwise its way to easy to take off to much material . . then your tap no work . . I then lock in the threads with gorilla epoxy comes in 2 tubes . . solid . . love these things. . will buy again for sure.

Strong and Solid
When installed properly, i.e. with the correct drill and tap in solid material with some epoxy for good measure, these are strong sand sturdy. Used on a twelve pound hunting rifle mounted on the side. Five seasons and still tight.Edit: Seven seasons and still tight and working properly
