This was very hard to install and does not fit correctly I would advise not to but this but maybe the dual muffler set up would have been better

This muffler system will NOT work with 1st gen convertibles! I even purchased a deeper Hotchkis cross brace for my convertible Camaro, and it wouldn't fit. We ended up taking the car to a muffler shop so they could chop this kit up to use the transverse muffler and most of the pipes in a custom exhaust for the car.
