People laugh and think it's stupid to pay that much for a hitch, but who cares? This beefy hitch is an all in one, no tools needed hitch. If you want to simplify your life and are looking for a replacement hitch, or maybe you don't have any yet (like me), then get this and be done with it. No worrying about different drops, ball sizes, having the tools, etc etc. You just plop this in, adjust it, and go. It may be expensive, but you pay for what you get in most products, and this is no different. It appears to be very solid and can't complain. The adjustable part does not come off the hitch at all, so you don't have to worry about it being stolen (you do need a locking pin in the main receiver hole though). The tow and stow feature is also nice so you aren't kicking it every time you come around the truck (you still have the drop assembly though so be careful). Note that the tow and stow does not go all the way up to the top on the back side, but it goes up enough to nicely tuck away the assembly. My only "ding" on this product (which doesn't deserve a star drop IMO) is the fact that someone could come and take the adjustment/ball pins right out and you would be SOL, with the assembly just dangling there. These really should be implemented with a lock feature on them (haven't looked for lock pins long enough for that yet). Other than that, it's pretty nice. NOTE: This is kind of heavy (35-40 pounds it seems) so be weary of this if you plan on taking it on and off a lot and storing it in your truck (like I do). Also, this is a 7" drop, not the 10" drop that is stated. I ordered the 50B (which is actually 9" according to B&W) and it was too low for my truck. Be careful which one you order, you need a decent lift on your vehicle to use the 9" with enough ground clearance.

This product is top quality. This is my second hitch. I needed the 3 ball combo with the 2-5/16” size for a new camper setup. Going to move the 1-7/8” x 2”to the UTV. I use the height adjustment and different ball diameters often as I change from hooking up my utility trailer to my boat trailer. I really like not banging my shins on the hitch as i work behind the truck. I use a hitch pin lock and wire the clevis pins so no one steals them or at least discourages the idiots from trying. Keep the pins greased with lithium. This is a quality piece of equipment and tolerances are tight with little play for rust. I’ve subjected the hitch to many heavy and long hauls and it fits like new, never rattles. Pricey but worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Solidly built. Easy to install and use. Pretty pricey, but I like that it is adjustable for drop or rise, has three different ball sizes built in, and that it can stow out of the way to protect your shins. It would be nice for the price, if it came with a locking pin to attach it to the receiver. I purchased one separately, and it works great.

Been with me more than 2 years and I never take it from the car and it doesn’t have any mark of rust or anything even that I have scratched to the floor once I used on a truck. Never oiled and it’s still easy to operate.

I started pulling a tandem trailer a year ago and I pull it nearly every day. I wanted to buy this hitch but I thought it was a waste to spend that much. After trying different hitches and different drops I thought I finally had my trailer sitting level. Then I replaced my truck tires and and again my trailer was unlevel by enough to cause problems. I gave in and bought this hitch because buying more hitches would basically add up to nearly what this costs. I should have bought this first. It does everything I need and if I tow anything else I just adjust the hitch and hook up. Just make sure you buy a locking pin to hold it on your truck. This is a great hitch and everyone that sees it knows it. You don't want anyone walking off with it.

This is a great hitch, and definitely meets my varied needs. I love the adjustment abilities, especially the tuck under when not in use. On mine there is no risk of the tri hitch being stolen, but you could have the pins taken. I don't see that as a huge risk. The product is made very well, and pairs nicely with a couple pads to quiet the normal rattle. I would highly recommend you do some very detailed measuring of where the tongue of your trailers sit to decide on the amount of drop you need. I went with the 7" drop and in reality would have been fine with the 5". Not an issue on my truck, but if you have some ground clearance issues it could get you in a pickle.
