New stator
Took my chance on this stator. My original has 7 leads. This stator has 8 leads. Extra Red ( bullet connection). Assemble on the motor, with the same color leads to the switch box. The red leads is not connected. The engine started on .... so happy. Next is to see if the engine will perform in all RPMs.

Perfect match for 1987 Mercury 150 outboard
Perfect match for 1987 Mercury 150 outboard. I suggest that in addition to this item a buyer also purchase the Amazon suggested flywheel puller. This made changing the stator an easy job that would be nearly impossible without causing damage without it.

Bad quality 😡
The media could not be loaded. Bad shipping control and bad quality one cable is broken

all was fine. I did have a marine man show me to change out wires one at a time.

Better than OEM and Cheaper!!
Replaced oem 26yr old part with this product on blackmax 150. Excellent quality, proper mounting locations and wire colors. Happy technician, happy customer!

I little thicker than the old one but works good

parts they list doesn't alway fit what they say it will!
Did not fit my 150 hp motor, and had an extra wire left over. No instructions were sent to tell where this wire needed to be hooked up. Then in sending the item back I was charged a restock fee for sending the part back to get the correct one. Even though their advertisement showed that the part would work on my outboard. WRONG part sent.

Dead on arrival
Checked with a multimeter when it arrived and was not giving resistance or ohm readings.
