Well its not. It works great. I was either stirring my protein into milk, or shaking it in a normal bottle. Both methods left clumps of powder. For the price, I thought I'd give this a shot and I'm glad I did. 20 seconds of shaking and the protein is blended perfectly. It is easy to clean, seals tight, and is plenty sturdy. I went with the 28oz. Its bigger than I need but that's a good thing. It gives more room to shake and I can make more if I want to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just Perfect! *by J***R on November 29, 2014* I have had several of these bottles only because I like to buy new colors NOT because they break or get old. Every bottle I have had works flawlessly. No leaks, cracks or anything. I don't have experience using them for cooking but I assume they would work as advertised. I use them for protein, pre workout and meal replacement shakes. Honestly I shake for about 5-7 seconds and there are no clumps. This is especially great for when im drinking them at work and I get caught up doing something and the protein settles a bit, all I need to do is shake it a couple times and its good to go. I will NEVER buy a competitor shaker because why even try it? These bottles are just too good, there's no way those plastic "X" shaped mixer things will do a better job. Thanks to the patented Blender Ball, I also add in greek yogurt, peanut butter even apple sauce! I have a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ground cloves that I use for a special snack that I make, it's superb to add to the Vanilla flavored nutritional shakes, too!The website has some great recipes, far more than smoothies! I have blended a special container of lemonade powder to which I've added a small amount of supplemental powders including magnesium citrate, d-Ribose and a tad bit of alpha lipoic acid. Combined, this has become an AMAZINGLY powerful refresher in those hot summer months, especially.The Blender Bottle came with a tab that offered a few recipes, including: orange juice with softened ice cream (Orange Dream Shake) or milk with peanut butter and chocolate protein powder (Peanut Butter Cup Protein Shake), or raspberry yogurt with half n half milk and cranberry juice along with vanilla protein powder (Classic Smoothie). BlenderBottle also suggested adding the following to nutritional shakes: ground oatmeal, peanut butter, fruit juice, applesauce, cocoa powder, yogurt or cinnamon.
