Hogue S&W J Frame Round Butt Grip (Bantam G-10 G-Mascus)

I have a set of these and the VZ textured grips. I like the way the Houge fit and much more than the VZ just wish they had a texture pattern similar to what VZ offers.

It looks cool and is form fitting. However the grip is noticeably slicker than the factory rubber grip.

The first shipment was just an empty package. I was amazed this coyld happen. Amazon quickly shipped a replacement free of charge. The second package actually contained some grips. The corners are a little large and sharp. They need to be sanded down to be a good comfortable fit. VZ grips are made much better out of the box.

Fits flush and shaped like the original rubber grips very nice fit and finish minor sanding to make perfect

I wanted a set of grips to give my handgun some personality and also to offset the stark black outline of the stock rubber grips for concealed carry. These are very well-made, easy to install, etc. Only tiny issue I would point out is these are smooth. The pictures imply some texture, but they are totally smooth and far less "grippy" than the rubber ones. I'm okay with that and it's what I wanted, but figured it should be pointed out.

Didn't quite fit on the back of the grip. Had to file down sharp points and edges. Didn't want to go thru the process of returning another grip. Satisfied enough with what i did to it, to keep it.

I ordered these grips for my Smith & Wesson Model 640. The package arrived complete with all hardware and fit with no issues. I would prefer a little more texture on the grips, however that is a personal preference. Overall, good product at a good price.

It a good grip nice and smooth a little too smooth though. But over all it good. I got it on my sw 360j .357
