What I needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More β€˜pro’ looking than the standard, and significantly thicker. *by I***O on 6 January 2026* OK, first off, this wire is much thicker than the 16-gauge stuff. It’s twice the price and probably twice the thickness of the standard amazon speaker wire. The two strands are twisted inside an outer white plastic sheath. So the cable has a kind of twisted texture because of the way the wires are wound within. It is a much more β€˜pro’ looking cable than the classic see through orangey standard speaker cable. I have no basis for comparing the sound quality with the standard 16 gauge stuff. They both work. I have wired up my front cinema speakers with this stuff and they work with no problems so far. It would be interesting to A/B test these cables to see if they make any difference. They are heavy duty and look the part. Also they are white which is more discrete for my space, so that’s the real bonus.
