Will this work on a 440 plymouth satellite? also do i have to have an alternator? and do i have to have a oil light sensor?

Yes it will work. You need to connect the wire labelled IGN+ to the + side of your coil. The wire labelled SOL to the small tab or eyelet on your starter solenoid. You don't need to have or connect an alternator or generator to run the engine. It will run off the battery for a long time. You don't need an oil light sensor either. You can leave the wire labelled OIL disconnected and it won't harm anything.
