Forged In Fire 10" Stainless Nonstick Skillet

I love this pan. I wish Amazon sold more of the cookware because I would buy more. I have two of these skillets and one 6" skillet. They are very easy to clean and cook evenly. They are my go to pans even over ones that were more expensive. You can put them in the dishwasher, but clean up is so easy, I never need to do so.

Pretty impressed with the real world performance of this so far. I seasoned it a bit before real use by cleaning it by hand and drying, then putting in canola oil and heating up to medium heat, keeping it coated with oil. Then let it cool down and cleaned it off. It has worked well for eggs, meat, fish, and veggies for a quite a long period of time now. I almost always use a little olive oil or avocado oil, depending on what is cooking. I generally never heat it above medium heat. It cooks well at that temperature or lower. I went ahead and got the bigger size (11.5 inch) directly from the History outlet. I wish I could find the 8 inch version that I saw in a electronic flyer page once back when these were first coming out. That would complete the set. We still try to avoid using metal utensils with all our pans, but this one's coating has survived some knife pokes and spoon scooping no worse for the wear. Will see how long the coating lasts and how well it stays mostly non-stick. The copper type ones only seem to last about a year non-stick even being super careful with them, and using some oil.

I bought two pans the larger of which had a slightly bent rim. It didn’t really affect the function of the pan so I kept it. That being said I am totally happy with their performance. My wife puts them through the dishwasher regularly to sanitize them and it has not affected the non stick coating at all. Metal utensils don’t scratch it and they heat up as even as any pan I’ve ever had. I just wish they made a crepe pan/ flat griddle/ ridged griddle and other pans to round out a full set of cookware. These pans should do wonders on the new induction range I’ll be getting delivered soon. If it hadn’t been for the minor damage I’d have given them a five star rating.

I love this skillet. Nothing sticks to the skillet. Easy to clean. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

second one I bought, great pan

I wrote a review previously and only gave it 4 stars - but I have been using my FIF pan daily and need to up that rating to 5! This pan is awesome! Everything comes out easily. The handle is awesome – it is if the first truly stay cool handle I have ever used. The best part is that pan still looks the same as when I first bought it (usually by now, you start to see little scratches and a little dullness). Oh and it heats up like a champ – and holds the heat beautifully. And while it is very sturdy and a nice weight, it isn’t too heavy. Finally a pan which has the best of both worlds – the beauty of stainless with the easy of nonstick cooking. Really loving it!

Steamed mushrooms too long and developed a film on surface of the pan.

The interior of the pan is very durable. You can use metal utensils. Cleans easily. Cooks evenly.
