Instant Pot LID-3-GLASS Tempered lid-3L Glass Lid, 2.8 liters, Clear

Well there's not much to say really is there? It's a glass lid that fits the instant pot. It arrived quickly and in good condition, it's well made and does it's job. I use it on my Duo Evo and find it very useful for yogurt making,for slow cooking , for non pressurised steaming and for using the pot on the hob . If I have one criticism it's that when I use it on the hob or for steaming the handle can get a bit hot.

I took a punt on this after reading an article on "pot-in-pot" cooking, (porridge). I bought this a YEAR ago - and its now time to do a review. Price / value is personal: that said this is very solid, not flimsy steel, and I suspect it will last a lifetime. I am totally sold on pot-in-pot: my "oats" are sooooo much better than using the outer pot, since the water is in the outer pot - you have much more control over how "wet" you make whatever is in the inner pot without getting the "burn" error. Another advantage is that the size of the pot makes cooking smaller portions "easier", and its more dishwasher friendly. 100% happy with it.

Pot lid fits duo crisp but it's not good when used for the sauté function. Steam escapes around the sides. Although steam escapes through the little hole as expected for when using the slow cooker function. Not used any of the other functions such as steam so not sure if I am using the lid for the correct function but I like using the sauté function to cook my meat a high heat to finish it off without over cooking using the pressure cooker function. For the steam escaping from the pot when using the lid I've given it 4 stars. I was expecting a more tighter fitting lid. Plus because it is 23cm in diameter, no other pot lid that I have at home will fit so I had to buy the insta pot lid. Glad I have it though..and I enjoy using my insta pot.

I don’t know why these don’t come with the pot! It’s a must have for the slow cooker. Would recommend getting one
