Works great, easier than wiring your own.
I bought this to go with a "HDMIHOME 50cm eSATAp Power ESATA Combo to SATA 22pin & IDE 4pin 5V 12V for 3.5 2.5 Hard Disk Data Cable" to power an external 3.5" drive. It worked great.

Good quality adapter
Bought this to run some PC fans that are used as an exhaust for my server rack. Works as expected, and it doesn't feel like a cheap fire hazard either.

Mine works fine in the right position, but cuts out if I move it.
This is exactly what I need to power a case fan I've installed on the outside of my cable modem, but if it's not in the right position, it doesn't work. I get the same results with both 2.1mm and 2.5mm internal diameter barrel plugs. Others have had good luck with them, so II may order another since I haven't found any alternatives.EDIT: I requested a return for replacement and they cross-shipped, so I got it quickly. The replacement works great.

Poorly made, caused damage
Poorly made and would not mate, damaged the connector on my $60 pump.

Honestly what more can I say. Its an adapter plug I am using with a M.2 -> PCI adapter board to power a NIC card I'm putting into an Intel Skullcanyon NUC. Works great and with the adapter I had didn't have any issue.
