I put in on the porch railing and the birds stay away! I have enough to replace as needed. I'm going to try it when I plant grass seed in the back yard.

I used the reflective ribbon for a couple of things . 1, I have a dog enclosed wagon attached to my bike and I strung it from top to bottom of the wagon. And the other that I used it for was to keeps birds from makeing nest in my trees

The bird scare tape did not work on one woodpecker. I am still fighting him.

The product itself is good, but it didn't stop the hawks from taking out my hens. Now I just use fencing on the ceiling of the chicken pen and they're safe.

Doesn't deter birds from eating grapes.

This item shines in the sunlight or any light bright enough. You can see the colors just shine on the ribbon. But it will only flash white light through the windows. Sorry. However... it's a really awesome item to spread more rainbow power where you can.
