Impressed!
I'm a little paranoid when it comes to my hair which is thinning but very long so I'm as gentle to it as I can be. I only wash it once a week, never use heat tools, sleep with a satin bonnet/head scarf and using several different hair brushes including some that were quite expensive. My hair tangles so easily, I can brush one side of the hair switch to do the other but already the first half is tangle just from moving it. I've had a tangle tweezer in the past as I bout the original one when it VERY first came out. I enjoyed the original however I found the bristles bent fairly quickly. My biggest issue was that it would constantly fly out of my hand especially as my hair is so long and it drove me mad. So much so that I stopped using it and moved onto other brushes. However when this one, the elite, was reccomended to me I thought I'd give a tangle teezer a second chance and I am so glad I did. In the hand it feels like it is so much sturdier and a higher quality and the rounded shape fit into the hand so much better than the original and hugs the curve pf your head too which really helps for giving a scalp stimulating massage which by the way this brush is AMAZING for. The bristles are rounded and not at all scratchy which means it doesn't irritate my scabby patches of psoriasis that are dotted around here and there. One of the things I love about tangle teezer style brushes is that they're so much easier to clean. One of my other brushes is use (that i LOVE and highly reccomend; the cantu detangling bristle brush for thick hair) is a nightmare to clean. Because I have 2 cats, one of which is a very floofy Ragdoll I get so much fluff and fuzz in my hair and that quickly builds up on my brushes even though I remove hair from my brushes every time I use them. It takes forever to pick out the fuzz from the bristles. With this tangle teezer however it is so much easier because of it being plastic it is so simple and quick to clean I just run it under the tap with a small amount of shampoo and use a soft tooth brush to thoroughly clean between bristles and then simply rinse. Done in 30seconds. It gently detangles my knotty hair and the amount of hair I lose when I brush is so much less than any other brush I use and that makes a big difference to me as my hair falls easily due to lupus and pcos. If you're undecided about trying this brush, just do it and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. If my review helps please feel free to let me know as it helps me improve fo future reviews. 🖤

Amazing
I've been using these hair brushes for years - it's the only one I can use on my hair. I have wavy/curly hair which I can only brush when wet otherwise it goes frizzy. Normal hairbrushes always felt like they were pulling out my hair when I used them, but these glide right through. I've been using them for about 15 years now and have only had to replace them twice - not because they were broken but because of the build up of hair products I could no longer clean. If you have tangled, curly or wavy hair, this is the best hair brush you could possibly buy!

My hair gets tangled easily and my normal hairbrush wasn't doing it justice and ...
I have been using my tangle teezer for just over two months now. I didn't want to review it straight away as I felt my review may have been inaccurate. My hair gets tangled easily and my normal hairbrush wasn't doing it justice and I had heard good things about tangle teezers so I thought I would give one ago. It is brilliant on both wet and dry hair. It almost effortlessly and painlessly removes all of the knots and tangles from my hair in no time at all. It's biggest downfall, and the reason I've only been able to rate it 4 stars, is due to the amount of time the thing has literally flown out of my hair mid-brush. This is due to the lack of grip on the top of the brush. All it needs is a small strip of rubber down each side and that would solve the problem. The other problem I've had is that one of the bristles looks like it is going to break off on one of the edges. But other than that, it is a great brush and if you have tangle-prone hair it's worth every penny - highly recommended product!

😊👍Genuine Original Tangle Teezer - Indispensible for Detangling Wet Conditioned 4C Hair!
The original Tangle Teezer; it arrived packaged in its own plastic storage box--in my case, the genuine article.😊👍 Best used with wet conditioned hair--my personal leave-in mixture is a generous amount of perfume-free conditioner (Simple brand) mixed with about a tsp of 100% pure argan oil. Rub it in, section, and this hairbrush works through my 4C tangles with ease. Some might prefer longer or sturdier bristles--these bend easily. Unlike those, this doesn't forcibly break (most of) my fragile hair. If your hair does get matted--the worst tangles--it is strong enough to work its way through. Be patient and start from the ends to minimise hair breakage. You can use it on dry hair, but you will experience more breakage. Even though I use it in the shower, it's only slipped out of my hand once. I prefer this style to the fan brushes, where the bristle spreader routinely pops off. Also, I find this wide palm-sized shape easier to control than a long-handled brush--a matter of personal preference.

I'm a guy with medium-to-long length, coarse Asian hair. In the past, I never really used brushes often because they're generally difficult to work through my hair. Now, I use the Tangle Teezer, sometimes as a prep before using an Isinis boar bristle hair brush, but often on its own because it's easier to clean and generally less fussy. I originally heard of the Teezer on Dragon's Den, a UK investment show. I think that might've set my expectations higher than they should've been. Looks: This thing comes seriously overpackaged in a large colourful box with a see-through front and a Union Flag printed behind the brush. Inside the box, along with the brush, were a flyer with set of instructions, a smaller flier with cheery-sounding haircare tips, a small advert for the product, and a mass-print thank-you note from Shawn P., the inventor. I'm really not used to receiving so much junk mail with my brushes. Maybe it's normal, but I just found it a bit excessive. The photo gives a good idea of how it looks. Nothing overly special. The brush is machined in two parts, one part is the base with the bristles and the other is the handle. You can see the lip where the two parts join up. Mine came with two or three of the bristles bent slightly out of shape. Not a huge deal, seeing as there're so many, though. Also, mine kind of "opened" a bit when I tapped it on the counter, but it was easy to snap it back in place. I just pressed it back together and it popped like a tupperware lid. Use: With this brush, you're encouraged to use a bit of force. The little hooks on the bristles actually do better when they're pressed and dragged through your hair. The brush works well, but because I need to use force and my hair is coarse, it's smooth body sometimes slips out of my grip. That problem could be solved simply by adding some ribs to the side, so maybe they'll do that. Overall, the brush feels good on my scalp and works at detangling hair. Results: Since the base that the bristles sit on is hard and flat, and you're encouraged to really press on your hair while brushing it, hair looks sleek and modern. As a guy, I'd say the closest look I could describe would be "clean emo" or "Justin Beiber". It compacts the hair together, especially on my front fringe, leaving it shiny and almost too uniform. My other brush, which I use after this one, adds a bit more volume to my hair and character to my hair. Clean Up: This brush is easy to clean, which is why I sometimes use it alone. Rinsing it under the tap causes most of the gunk to just slide off. It does take a while to dry though because the bristles are so close together. Twice a week, I clean both of my brushes using shampoo and a Denman's hair brush cleaner. Nothing extraordinary to say, really, it cleans as you'd expect a brush made of slick plastic to clean.
