Don't use for swimming
It mostly worked as advertised, but once I had a swimming session with it, it stopped working. Like some other waterproof devices (such as Sony Xperia Z3), their lab testing in static water seems to prompt the respective marketing departments to advertise them as ready for swimming. Well, they are not. But while it might be justifiable for a phone, it certainly isn't for a sports tracker with a swimming mode.

Jaybird Reign
I have had the Reign for over a month now and I like it so far. Definitely not the most accurate tracker (I compared its readings to my Garmin 15) but I like the concept and trust that Jaybird will keep improving this band. Step count might be off but the calorie count is very close. For those wanting absolute accuracy in terms of measurement of steps and type of activity being performed I think one needs to realize that no band will be able to do that based on limitations and workings of a fancy pedometer. Such activity trackers will be fairly accurate and work best as a motivational tool. For me the biggest plus of Reign is its 'Go-Zone' test and score. I like that it can gauge my fatigue/non-fatigue level accurately. Though, I would recommend taking the Go-Zone test immediately upon waking for a more accurate reading. The instructional video says the test can be taken up to 30 minutes upon waking up but I think it loses its accuracy when postponed. As for sleep tracking it is very sensitive and can be fooled into thinking you did not fall asleep if you move too much or step out of bed a couple of times (bathroom, pick the puppy and put her back on the bed, etc). If sleep is not detected then you can manually edit the sleep time and continue with the Go-Zone test (of course within 30 minutes of waking time).

Complete waste of time. ALL show, and NO GO
Jaybird Reign looks great, is packaged great and fits great. But that's it. Its all show and no go. The moment you open it you will spend the first couple hours charging. Ok I can handle that. Then you follow the guide to synchronize it to your phone.Step 1, download Reign app to your phone. I then realize no app is available for Android systems. Website claims early February....midway through February they re-word it to "App will release February". So even then I give this activity tracker a chance...I continue wearing it and waiting for the release. I begin noticing the battery doesn't hold a charge for the 5 days or so they claim it does. Anyways I charge my tracker for several hours....come back to a still dead unit. I try flipping it on the docking station...unplugging and replugging. Nothing works...its dead.I contact Live Tech Support...the first two questions request technical help. After 20 minutes of no response I then request help for a refund. I get a response immediately sending me on my way and to contact whoever I bought it from for a refund. That's all I needed to see. Jaybird does not appreciate its customers and it releases BETA QUALITY units. Do not waste your time on this. Even if the app is available your unit will just break after two weeks of normal use.

I really wanted this device but they still do not ...
I really wanted this device but they still do not have support for Android, only Iphone. I sent it back, I don't want to wait for Android support on the first release of the OS. I will wait and see what happens or go with another brand that already have Android support, Fitbit, Garmen, and probably everyone else.

Listen to the Reviews...
This is a nice looking device but that is where the nice things I can say about this device ends. The strap broke in under 30 days, it does not automatically sync and if you do not post an update near the end of your day (which was arbitrarily set based on the time you powered it on with no way to change in app) you loose the entire days progress regardless of how many times you synced previously. Also "Sleep Tracking" is not what I would call functional. In the activity tab it seems to know when you sleep but the sleep tracker is really hit or miss. You can tell the app when you started and stopped sleeping in the event it was unable to identify that but for this price I would think it would be more functional then a sleep journal where you would write down the hours you slept every night.I will say that this is a bit of a mess of my own making. I love my Jaybird's headphones and ignored the negative reviews and even those of people saying they ignored the reviews and were not happy. All I can say is think long and hard before making this purchase, or at least wait a few more months and hopefully the app will be better. Its possible the iPhone app is better but I don't have one to confirm this.

Too expensive and lacks features
I don't like to give negative reviews, but this one deserve it. First of all the size of the band is not acceptable, I got the Extra-Large and still it was too small, they had a bigger band that they said you can request from the web site but that was impossible to find. Second, the software is useless with promised updates that never happen and the price was high and not justifiable and to add to all of this, it stoped working after one week and I was so glad to return it.

JAYBIRD IS GARBAGE
This is JAYBIRD'S issue NOT Amazon. Amazon did everything perfectly, Jaybird is to blame. This "fitness tracker" is COMPLETE garbage. First of all it does NOT work independently from the app....and since this item is discontinued the app is NO LONGER available on any Google or Apple Store site. Jaybird's site doesn't even have it any longer, nor does it have replacement parts etc available. So basically you're buying a useless wristband that lights up incoherently when it feels like it. The fact the item itself is crap is even more sad, refuses to pair with my phone etc. How they managed to sell even one of these garbage units is beyond me. I am staying as far Way from ANY Jaybird product as I can. If that's how they support items they've produced. Basically when I called it was like "oh you didn't know the item is discontinued? Too had have a great day". USELESS item and PATHETIC company.

Really great
Does what it says on the box. Can be difficult to understand to start with, but soon it is very easy to operate and understand.

Glad I got it
I'm really liking my Reign. The original band kept coming apart so I'm using the sport band instead which is actually lighter if not quite as pretty. The original band fell off twice. The second time was in my work parking lot and when I found it the next day the band was mangled because it had been run over but the activity tracker heart has kept working! My history sometimes lags a few days but otherwise works well.
