This cookbook is fun to read as well as having some really good recipes.

I have collected cookbooks most of my life and have all of the classics. But this one is different; it's the kind you just want to sit down and read. I have one I got at a flea market a couple of summers ago and was delighted to see it listed on Amazon. I have two daughters in law that are great cooks and I got one for each of them as gifts. Looking forward to their creations!

Already had paperback issue and wanted to replace to hardcover . Hardcover is plain but title is readable and much more sturdy than paperback. It shd wear well since I use all the time!

Some of the best, and easiest, recipes of dishes you wouldn't get in a restaurant. Bed and Breakfast favorites are worth trying. A good sampling of not only regional styles and tastes, but the "specialty" of the house and the stories were tasty and interesting. Of the recipes I tried there wasn't one in which I was disappointed! And a couple have become my favorite pot-luck dishes!

I've been looking to replace this book for well over a decade. So joyous to have finally found it! BEST banana bread recipe on the planet in the Hawaii section.Only complaint is the cookbook came with no dust cover. Really happy to have it in any case!

I was given a paperback version of this book by my Mom. Every recipe we tried out of this book was wonderful! I wore out the book and ordered a hardcover copy and also bought a hardcover copy of Volume II while I was at it. So many great, tasty recipes! You will find great recipes to serve your family for years to come! If you own a B&B, buy these two books and you won't need anything else to make your guests happy!

My father bought this book when I was a kid and it is AMAZING!! the recipes are to die for and it's companion book is no slouch either. The recipes are easy to understand and carry out. The pumpkin bread I make from these books one of my good friends requests as a bribe for rides instead of gas money.

I have had a B&B for almost 18 years and my first copy of this book was so used that after 17 years--the binding broke!! I just had to get another copy, and am glad I did. Every state is represented in this book of really good recipes. I'm an adventurous cook, but I need a recipe, and this book gives me tons to try.
