Charging a battery at 14.5V with 240W would require 16.6 A. The MPPT will knock down the voltage to 14.5 and increase the current to 16.6A. I think it would work ok. If you connect in parallel, you'll get around 18V max and close to 15A which would probably be too close to the liit of solar input for the charge controller and you'd lose some potential power. This is hard to answer without seeing the specs for your panels, this is a guess. **Q: wii it work with a lithium ion battery? Specifically Tesla 263133603034** A: I am using this unit with lithium sulphur batteries and it is working out well. There are setting for different battery types. When you link them in parallel you'll be getting 14A witch is just under the maximum for the this unit. Just as a reminder the 2 ratings you want to keep an eye on are the Voc (volts) and Isc (amps) on your solar panels. If you are staying under those 15A limits then you could also consider the 75/15 model which is slightly cheaper. On paper it looks as if it would be too small but if you stay within the 75V and 15A maximums it will function just fine. It will not be able to utilize its MPPT functions fully, but it can still fulfill the task of charging 2 batteries if you are on a budget. **Q: can i use this contoller in a 12v system with a 204 watt panel and 33 v** A: According to the manual, the 100/15 Charge Controller can take 220 watts and 75 volts max on a 12v system.
