Really works.

I had quite a bit of moss in a section of my grass. I bought one bag of this in the fall and saw a small improvement. I applied more in the spring, but this time I also added lime. 6 weeks later and the moss is almost completely gone. I probably needed the lime, even though I've been using it regularly, but the 2 combined really made a difference.Just my experience.

This product definitely discourages moss, but even with their "heavy" application, moss doesn't disappear. I found that eliminating moss requires repeat treatments and the use of lime. For the price, it should work better.

I used this on my backyard where some moss was growing among the grass and in the front yard where is was growing on some concrete. I followed the directions and it worked. The back yard looks great. The moss turned from green to brown and then more grass sprung up. On the concrete, it changed colors and then i had to scrape it (very easy to remove, a strong hose would probably work too). I wish I could use this in my neighbors yard too!

I've used this product before and its a fantastic product. Unfortunately, I can't find it sold anywhere such as Lowe's, Home Depot, ACE Hardware and True Value Hardware. Not even at K-Mart or Wal-Mart. And these stores can't even get this product. But I did find it on Amazon.

I had about 8000 sq ft of turf with mossy sections in a generally shaded area. Using a EdgeGuard DLX spreader, I put out two bags when the grass was wet. Two more two weeks later and two more three weeks after that. This was in the winter / early spring. The moss disappeared and as a side benefit, the grass greened up nicely. I'll finish with an overseed during the fall.

Worked OK, but I did require a second treatment to clear the moss from the lawn. I applied immediately after lawn was rained on and at a heavy application rate and after a month had to purchase a second bag and retreat the moss. Looks good now, but was a lot of effort to reach this point.
