What used to take me 3 minutes and a lot of work with a utility knife now takes 5 seconds. The cut is clean and fast and I have not nicked an inner conductor or jacket yet. And I appreciate the fact that the design allows me to reach into an outlet box and strip a cable one-handed without putting strain on the cable. They will work on NM also but you need to be a little more careful - on some of the NM I have the outer jacket is thin so these cutters can nick the inner jacket a little (though I have not seen a nick that goes through to copper).
