Fantastic! My Imagination Is On Fire!
Whoa! I’m amazed. This book has lit my imagination on fire! These games are so much fun. I’m currently playing through ‘Adventure’ I’ll try an explain what I’ve been through so far.So, it all started with me, Shawn Weston, as a child, I was at my friend’s house for a sleep over, one morning we woke up and I forgot to remind my friend to take his vitamin for the day. He died in the next few hours. On that day I vowed to never let anyone suffer like that again. Flash forward to today, Cairo 1940. I read in an Encyclopedia Britannica that Egyptian god Imhotep had a secret health elixir hidden deep inside the great pyramid. With my guide Hassan and an ancient map we have begun our quest to discover this elixir.Upon entry to the great pyramid we encountered our first booby trap! The passageway behind us slammed shut and the floor in front of us started to retract inwards towards us creating an ever growing gap to the slowly closing door at the other end. Hassan and I began to sprint to the other end of the passageway only to discover that the gap was too far to jump and the door was closing to quickly on the other end. In a panic Hassan and I took our rope and hook and threw it underneath the door as it closed and we fell off the receding floor. SLAM! We swung into the opposing wall on the other side underneath the closed door, helpless. As we hung suspended by our ropes, me, not being the strongest struggled to hang on and dropped my torch in the process. I watched it fall as it illuminated the bottomless pit below us. Then I saw it, an out of place shadow. Hassan and I lowered ourselves down quickly to find a secret ledge leading to a passage way 40 feet below us. Hassan and I swung down onto the ledge. PHEW! A close one, any longer and my arms for sure would have given up on me.Now going down the passageway we discovered a mossy field, roughly 50 yards by 50 yards. Skeptical I took a bone from a nearby dead skeleton and tossed it into the mossy field. SIZZLE! The bone fell right through the moss into a pool of acid below. Scary! Some sort of mossy algae must have grown over the acid to disguise such a deadly trap. Using the bones of the skeleton Hassan and I poked at the secret acid pool to discover stepping stones scattered every few feet. Poking and hopping on the stones we made it to the other side. In this time. We heard pick axes echoing through the chambers. My rival Klaus had arrived it seemed, the pressure was on. Klaus works for the Germans. There’s no way I was going to let him get to the elixir before me and on top of that, he had modern tools to help him, along with German soldiers at his disposal. That’s makes him a cheater, he doesn’t deserve to win.Following our map we found the next chamber, this trap was a classic, pressure sensitive pads on the floor that triggered deadly arrows. Easy. The next obstacle stumped us. It was a water fall. While a sight to see we didn’t know what to do. We could hear Klaus and his men getting closer. With no ideas left, Hassan and I jumped down the water fall. Lucky for us there was a deep pool at the bottom. Hassan and I gasped for air as Klaus and his men ran in at the top of the waterfall. Klaus unleased a fury storm of bullets on us. Hassan and I took a deep breath and went under the water. Bullets whizzed into the water as we looked for a desperate escape, lungs burning and yearning for oxygen we found it, an underwater tunnel leading to the next chamber. With moments left before blacking out Hassan pulled me out of the water into the dry tunnel. I gasped for air. I had never held my breath for that long before. We started to head down the tunnel to find that it split into 4 separate passageways.I reached for our map only to find that the water had rubbed off all the markings on it. RATS! What to do. Hassan and I started to talk things through. During this however my mom called me to dinner, so I had to hid pause on the game for now. I can’t wait to get back to playing though. These games seem to be as fun as your imagination is! I highly recommend getting this book to play the games. They are so realistic! For those wondering how the book is set up. Adventure is set up in the following. They give a few prompts/points to consider for creating your character. This includes things like age, gender, occupation, backstory. Then it helps you set up a goal that your are going for. Along with your main antagonistic force. There's also a few things mentioned to help you figure out and set up the scenerio/story your bout to begin. Then whatever you have in your head you just go with it and play it all out based on what you defined previously.

Perfect book to enhance your imagination
I have Fantasy Prone Personality so I am already in my head a lot of the time, already creating stories daily in my head, some have lasted for months and years. I bought this book excited at the prospects it could bring and boy was I right, it is fantastic. It really adds a lot of optimization to the part of my imagination I sometimes get stuck on, it helps build the initial story and get the ball rolling in my head!A small (but long winded as that is how my brain works) portion of my initial story, based off of the introduction game:I walked towards the ramshackle building in the center of the glowing wheat field, I couldn't see the shack from where I was because the wheat was quite tall and the roof is ever so low but I knew the way, this was MY place. As I walked up to the shack, it struck me how ordinary and broken down it was. You could see inside between the wooden slats it was so decayed from decades of being in this field. A shack so small I would have to duck to enter the undersized door. As I did inter the door though something strange happened, as it always does when I enter Sanctuary, the room morphed, swirling in ever changing colors until the dusty shack interior became a well but gently lit room, warm from the fire in the fireplace, furnished with only one chair, a softened red leather lounge chair, worn from use and age. I looked around, taking note of all my delicate possessions, the painting above the fireplace mantelpiece that was quite similar to Van Gogh's Starry Night, with the exception that the sky and stars didn't stop at the frame but continued to the walls and onto the ceiling. The firelight flickering gave the painted sky the appearance of movement and the stars seemed to dance. Sitting on one of the many bookshelves, which also happened to be filled with many leather-bound tomes and various masterpieces of storytelling, was a deck of tarot cards, open and at the ready. Though I don't believe in them, I still do readings for myself as they sometimes show me things I may not have concluded on my own, a new way to perceive what I already know. By the lounge chair sat my favorite book collection, the ones I always go to to read when I don't feel like consuming new literature. On top of the book I left out to read next sat a corncob pipe. I do not smoke but I often like to have something to do with my mouth and thus have the pipe in between my teeth, it helps that the pipe handle is made of the sweetest aromatic sugarcane. I look around at all the things once again and I walk back outside, far enough out that the beautiful indoor room once again looks to just be dusty empty and old. I look to my shadow, who is currently freed from the connection to my body and is poking the top of a piece of wheat while waiting for my return. It sees me and jumps excitedly and I move aside and allow it entrance to the room. I know it has mischief on its mind but I appreciate it nonetheless and I stand there solemnly, arms folded, as I hear quite the disturbance from inside the shack. After a few more moments of quite loud creaking my shadow walks out of the shack door and saunters away quite jauntily, sitting down near to the path back away from the shack. I roll my eyes at it's haughty stance as I reenter the shack and my room swirls to reassemble itself once more. I look around and I am not at all surprised to see that nothing is where it was before. The stars from the painting walls and ceiling are all piled in a corner, swirling their golden hues in one section, while the fireplace itself seems to have decided it preferred being on the ceiling. My shadow does love making life hard for me sometimes, but that's life. The books on the shelves are all backwards, with the pages facing out. That seems like more work than it needed to be, I think to myself that maybe I will have to have a talking to with my shadow and remind it that we're on the same side. I know it took something but from the mess in the room I know it would be quite hard for me to figure out what, so I get to cleaning up. I put my hands together and center my breathing, sliding my palms back and forth on each other to create gentle friction, and using the warmth that is created I pour my energy out into the room and close my eyes. As I do, I picture the room as it is meant to be, as Sanctuary. I feel air whipping around me as everything is thrown quite quickly back into place and solidifies itself back to normal. I open my eyes and smile before looking down and noticing my corncob pipe is missing. It took my favorite and only sugarcane and corncob pipe! I chuckle as I roll my eyes and start towards the exit, where I know I will have a job of tracking my shadow through the field to get to it in time before it does something with my pipe. I smile, knowing that I will get there in time, I know my shadow too well. I open the door and walk back out into the sun.Aaaannnd that's that. Took about 3 minutes in my head but apparently took a lot longer to write down haha, but that is something that this book helped to provide, and it is fantastic. So many new stories to create! BTW, I am still tracking my shadow as it has eluded me so far, taking my pipe far away, but right now I am following a lead to possibly find it and my pipe in a land I have heard of called Fantasia. I am hot on his trail I WILL get my pipe back!

Did not meet expectations
I had very high hopes for this one. I got it recommended in a YouTube video by an author I value and trust and that I find creative. The book did not meet my expectations.

WORTH IT !!!
I wanted to buy this book since 2019 when it was launched but didn't had money as I was still in school but the wait was worth it...I bought it recently and I escape reality when I start reading it. I have control over myself in my dreams now ( I mean very very dangerous dreams). The power source ( my brain) was full of hidden files I didn't had access to but they unhide themselves and run after my life in my dreams.
