All attach with an adapter. This works exactly as described, as have all the Rinse Aces I've bought. They have never leaked on any of the different faucets or showerheads.What's great about this particular one is it is over 8 ft long (about 4-5 inches more due to the spray head). I attached it to the shower and due to that length, in our bathroom it can be used in the tub, at the sink, or at the toilet, making it super-useful. This sprayer, unlike the other two I have, has a selection of types of spray ranging from gentle to strong; also useful. Love the on-off bar right at the sprayer head.The only design flaw I can see is that you have to detach the hose from the shower adapter in order for the regular shower to work, but it's very easy to remove, so that's not a big deal for us. Another down-side for us is that it will not attach to the showerhead when the particular shower water filter we use is attached, so the water is not filtered. I imagine I could find a different filter to solve that. These are not major problems for us compared to these sprayers' generally excellent design and performance.After many tries with other products that always leaked or fell off their attachment, this brand and its products have been a very welcome find. This is THE one to buy. Different finish options ARE available, but only direct from the manufacturer site- for a premium.Long Version:A little backlog...I was searching for options to make bathing my dogs easier. After seeing the discrepancies with descriptions and products that were actually received by unhappy customers I did a little research.On the manufacturer site, the pet version is called the Rinse Ace® 3-Way Pet Shower Sprayer. On Amazon- The Rinse Ace® Pet Shower Deluxe PLUS.Hands on review:This item definitely makes it easier to get the job done. Flow pattern is adjusted by turning the shower head clockwise/counterclockwise. The blue lever adjusts and turns off water flow.The adapter IS plastic. I have read other reviews that complain of this failing. After several uses, I have no problems with leaks. Basically how it works is you take the end of the hose and push it into the "open" end and give it a small twist. Reverse the process to remove. While it is installed water flow only comes out of the Rinse Ace, therefor you cannot keep it installed 24/7 and it must be removed after each use. As a precaution in the event of failure, I oriented the "open" end towards the shower wall as suggested by others. If desired, brass adapters are available from the manufacturer, Amazon and even Walmart. Since I have no problems, I will only replace when/if the plastic one fails.The hose is plenty length to get to the end of my tub so it isn't pulling when my dogs retreat to the far end. I will now be using this to clean my bathtub since it easily reaches all areas with ease. The INCLUDED suction cup securely attaches to the shower tiles and allows me to keep it in the shower ready for use instead of stowing it away after each use if it wasn't included like the other pet version offerings.Whether bathing your dogs, children, or for the elderly as it is advertised..it definitely makes the job easier and just works. I was going to give it 4 stars for not including a metal adapter, but in hindsight...how many shower heads come with a metal adapter? The tall shower head I have makes it difficult to give my toddler a bath so I needed a shower head with a long hose for that. This feels like a nice sturdy plastic. The adapter drips a little but nothing huge and it does not bother us at all. The actual head has three settings and a little lever behind it that lets you adjust how strong the water comes out. All in all it's a great item and exactly what we needed.The only problem I have, and why I gave it four stars, is that the wall mount that the shower head rests in does not properly fit the base of the shower head. So, in other words, the shower head is not securely inside the mount because it doesn't fit. It's as though the mount is too small and the base of the shower head kinda sits on top of it instead of inside of it. I turned the mount around to see if the bottom was the top but that still did not work. I contacted customer service for a replacement of the mount but, although they were polite, they were not very helpful. They said it was supposed to look that way, then they said to try to flip it (which I had already done and explained that to them). So I was not able to get a replacement.
