I bought this for an automotive project but the wire thickness was too much so I returned it for a 4-wire harness. Even so they shipped it quickly and it seemed nicely made so would recommend!

I wire a lot of 18 wheeler trailers and this product has been great!!

Works great for rewiring trailers. Installed in wire split loom conduit for extra protection. Hoping it last longer than just wire in split loom.

I've got over 20 trailers that I run and maintain, including some RV rigs (in case some folks think there is a difference). We use lots of wire, and buying 7 wire makes life cleaner and easier. And the stuff is expensive.Enter Amazon, and particularly, thus item. Price was sooooo low, I took a chance. So hear me clearly; I'm not complaining, but I wouldn't waste my time again.The outer jacket is OK, a bit brittle, easy to slice, and thin. The inner coverings are super soft and trim easy. And the wire? I've never used anything so soft and breakable. Tightening a lug on a plug breaks the wires. Don't even think about letting it dangle for a couple seconds while you orient the next wire to feed.It worked for a very long extension...for now. I will not run this stuff for regular use.It gets 4 stars...because it is what is advertised and it performs OK for the price paid. And that's it.

Great price great product

This product was exactly as advertised, it is 7x14GA, low voltage cable. The inner wire insulation is very flexible, very much like SJOOW cable, making the cable nicely flexible. The outer sheath is a bit harder and stiffer which is a plus as it will be more abrasion resistant. The other reviewers were spot on about the powder in the wire, be prepared for power to fall out and do not strip it over carpet.Note, however, that this is not US trailer wire. The color coding of one of the wires is different (violet vs black), and the white wire is not larger than the others to carry the aggregate return current of all the other circuits when used as a single ground. As long as you're aware of this and have an application where all the conductors being equal sized is acceptable then you'll be satisfied with this wire.

Total length was a few feet short of advertised 50 feet, I didn't need all 50' so it wasn't an issue, but something to keep in mind if you're counting on using all of the cord. Other than that the cord has a very durable coating and I'm happy with it. Used on 24k lb gooseneck.
