The Uglies Collection: Uglies; Pretties; Specials; Extras Hardcover – September 4, 2018

I originally read the first book when I was in fifth grade, and I instantly fell in love with the series. I return to it as an adult reading it for one of my college courses, and was really ecstatic to see it on our syllabus. This book is great, and I haven’t gotten to the rest of the books in the series yet, but I started through pretties when I was younger and the book series is just great. Definitely worth a read.

Package arrived in perfect condition!I read this series in middle school and absolutely loved every page! Fast forward about 10 year I can’t stop thinking out how much I loved these books and that I wanted to read them again! Only problem, I couldn’t remember the title of each book or the author. The only thing I could remember was where they were located in my middle school library (not somewhere I had access to). After about a year of searching with what little information I had, Amazon recommended them to me!

Great binding and page quality. I got the hardcover version and no books were damaged or ripped in shipping including the box they came in. the box they came in was thin and flimsy because feels like paper BUT Yet I got the whole hardcover Percy Jackson Olympus books for only 7$ more and got better book case, another book AND the books hardcovers were thicker so the manufacturers could’ve spared extra time to make a better case for these books. But the product is perfect and had no flaws what so ever. I made sure I revived the correct books and I couldn’t be more happy with what I got besides the casing.

I bought this as a gift for my niece and she loves it, so I'm happy with my purchase.

I initially bought this set for my 11 year old daughter...I ususually read prior to handing over to my daughter (just to make sure I am comfortable with it's context for her). I am very much enjoying the series, however, I am uncertain if I want my daughter to read, EVER.The first book was great and I wanted her to finish the series she was currently reading so she could start on this series...HOWEVER, the second book got into "cutting". This is a serious problem with some of our youth and the book while not glamorizing "cutting", it was making the subject POWERFUL "in the books context".I do not want my young daughter to get misconceieved messages and perhaps not understand and somehow glamorize this very serious subject.I do not feel this series is appropriate for any other reason which is a shame. My dauther very much enjoyed the hunger games as did I but I am not comfortable with the amount text which is devoted to "cutting". Such a shame!

I love this series so much! I decided to buy it and let my boyfriend borrow it so he can see how awesome my adolescence was by these epic sci-fi tales that resonated deeply with me. I read the 1st three books when I was sixteen (same age as the protagonist!) and the fourth book at seventeen. I still remember most of the main plot points by heart, but I can't wait to reread them all! I'm 22 years old now, and because of these stories, I appreciated my appearance and life as I knew it all the more as a teenager. I encourage anyone that's coherent and mature enough to understand a dystopian world that is eerily similar to reality should read this book!

AMAZING book series!! I am not a huge reader, so finding books I like is a struggle. It does start a little slow in the first book, but once it picks up, it is so captavating!! I am not a huge Si-Fi gal, and I am head over heels for these books!! I haven’t yet read the last one, but I am looking forward to it!!Personally I got attached to the characters, and this book makes me angry, happy, sad, and over all confused (in a good way!). I really do recommend this book collection if you are looking for a romantic, action, Si-Fi, wilderness type of book!!

Even though I had be lent the previous versions of the book, eh, I'm happy with this box set. The story in itself is soo good it's hard to explain why. Scott Westerfeld has become one of my absolute favorite author! Every book I've read by him leave me completely speechless and... damn.This series is not your typical science fiction/futuristic ordeal. Who knows? This could be the future 300 years from now. Ever since i've first read these in my mid-teens I always read them again at least once a year, and never get tired of it. The emotional parts still get me even though I know what's gonna happen and the world he's created is so awesome you're gonna be wishing we lived in that era. It's a must buy. For everyone.

Ahora que estoy en México la e buscado pero jamás eh podido encontrarla en ninguna parte. Tenerlos ahora en mi posesión y en inglés es lo mejor del mundo ❤️ recomiendo mucho estos libros. Son excelentes en verdad! Ojalá más personas conocieran de su belleza.

Todo excelente, buen tamaño de letra, las cubiertas de buena calidad, solo las hojas de papel de medio baja calidad pero no se rompen, ni se corre la tinta, así que todo muy bien.
