functions flawlessly so far with all of my ef lenses. can use autofocus and image stabilization on lenses no issue.

I have found Commlite to be a good and consistent manufacturer of camera adapters. I have used their converters for EOS to 4/3's Lumix, Panasonic and and EOS to both M50 and R50 Canon cameras, and all of them worked [for the most part]. The adapter may not work on all lenses. Sometimes an error message will flash in your viewer. Whether or not it will work, is dependent on the quality / status of the lens being mounted. As an example, the EOS to R50 adapter failed to work with an older Canon EFS 18-55mm lens, but another [identical lens] worked. It is trial and error depending on the age and condition of the lens being used. If the lens is good, it appears to work. I would recommend the Commlite Lens adapters to my friends.

Does what it's supposed to. Works with all my EF and EF-s lenses. Auto focus and lens IS work perfectly fine. Surprisingly well built, although there is a bit of wiggle, the fit to the camera could be a little tighter. To sum it up, I'm quite happy with this adapter, considering its price.

So far so good, been using it with my Canon EOS R10 with no issues.

Initially I had no problems with the adapter. All my EF lenses worked great, including my Canon and Tokina lenses. However, as of today 6/21/21, the same lenses that I've been using without issue don't sit properly on the adapter. The consequence of which is that the lenses loose autofocus, the camera reads a f/stop of 00 and then the camera will read an error message Err-01 lens not attached - which causes the camera to shut down and restart. It happens with every single one of my EF lenses, all which work perfectly fine on my Canon 5Diii. Tested the RF 24-70mm on the R5 and had no issues. There is noticeable play/give at the attach point on the adapter with the EF lenses. You can wiggle the lenses up and down about 2mm. I just shot a graduation and using the light-weight Canon 50mm EF caused the camera to think that no lens was connected. Every time I swung the camera up to my eye to frame my shot, the lens would "disconnect" loose autofocus, and/or restart the camera. When using my Tokina 16-28mm lens, there is a ring of light visible on the image regardless of the light source or angle. Apparently others have experienced something similar, which is apparently the metal reflecting light directly onto the sensor. Yikes. 10/10 do not recommend. It's cheap, yes. It's all that's available, yes. But there has to be something better while Canon plays catchup with their supply line.

This adapter works great for my Canon R10 to be able to use my DSLR lens. It’s snug and holds the lenses well. I was a little worried using a third party aftermarket product but it works so well and is much cheaper than the one Canon offers. I highly recommend it.

After a year of use the lens no longer focuses as quickly anymore. There’s a huge lag where the camera gets stuck at f00 before the adaptor does its thing. Disappointed because now it’s almost unusable.

Ich war erst skeptisch, da das Produkt im Vergleich zum Canon Originalteil deutlich billiger ist. Es gibt keinen Grund zur Skepsis. Alles sitzt so fest wie es soll. Die Kommunikation von Kamera und Objektiv ist fehlerfrei (sowohl mit diversen Canons als auch Sigmas). Die Fotos sind scharf. Ob man die Objektivschelle braucht, muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Alles in allem klare Kaufempfehlung. Würde ich wieder kaufen, sehe aber keinen Grund, warum das in den nächsten Jahren notwendig sein sollte.
