Everything from the mind of Nicolas Tesla fascinates me.  He really was some kind of genius.  What kind remains unsure.  I know that his work is referenced in the U.S. patent for the HAARP government project.  Since the Telsa coil is easily constructed I am not sure why no one is using them commercially unless it is not as efficient as stated.

A well written and practical booklet on Tesla coil background, with practical low cost plans for experimenters.Worthwhile the modest price, and very easy to access via Kindle.The Tesla Coil design book by Mitch Tilbury is a helpful follow on to this book, and has more indepth science and design within it, for those that are interested in the more advanced theory behind the devices.
