Great for daughters big noggin
My 14 month has a big head, 19 inches around so I went ahead and ordered the 2t. It fits perfectly with room to grow. You can adjust it to make it more snug or loose. I was gifted the size 9-18 months and prefer the 2t fit.

Cute, very floppy
Overall, very simple and cute hat. Serves its purpose. It’s a little big on our daughter but I ordered it that way so she could grow into it by summer. It’s super floppy, so if you’re looking for a hat that you can kind of position, this isn’t it.

Cute hat but...
Love the color of the hat and the wide brim. What I don't love is that the drawstring only goes on half the hat and the piece that is supposed to cinch it does not stay in place.

Sun hat
I recommend this hat to any one! It is perfect for babies and toddlers as they are in the sun.

These are great sun hats - adjustable! Best I've found so far!
Pros:~ Easily covers baby's neck, shoulders and face! The brim is really wide.~ Many cute colors! We have hot pink and khaki and I have to restrain myself from buying more.~ Adjustable strap in the back helps fit to baby's head - if the brim is flopping in their face too much, try tightening the hat and then pulling it down in the back. There will be a little less face coverage but still more than most sun hats and it will prevent some of the flopping.~ The ties are PLENTY long - I have another sun hat that has velcro strings and they do not even fall to the bottom of my baby's cheeks, let alone all the way under her chin to meet up and be fastened!~ You can cram these into a diaper bag with minimal wrinkling - they look just fine when you pull them out.Cons~ I have one hat with velcro fasteners (that fit!) and I really like it - so quick to put on. I'd have a slight preference for velcro straps over a tie like this but I could see where it could irritate their chins if you had to make the velcro pieces long to ensure a fit for all heads.~ The brim is sometimes too floppy and my daughter has to tip her head back to see. I think I'm going to try starching one and see how that goes. I doubt it'll fare well scrunched up in the diaper bag but we'll see - I wouldn't mind starching them regularly if it made it much easier for her to see and the starch held up through a few diaper bag crunches. I think if something is annoying to them, they won't want to wear/use it and I want to make this likeable to her so she'll wear it willingly - the flopping is the only thing I see as possibly irritating her enough to want to pull it off.Overall, this is the best sun hat we've used. I love the wide brim and the fact that it covers her shoulders so well and I love that it's adjustable.

Good but read concerns before buying
Where I live is super sunny all year. Very important for my baby to have protective hat. This hat covers her head and is easy enough to get on, however, potential buyers please be aware of these concerns:1) my baby was 11lbs at 6 weeks and her head is far from small for size, if anything, it's a bit on the larger side. This hat was far too large for her at 6 weeks. It only began to be able to be worn at around 9 weeks (and my baby, at point was measuring 2 months ahead in size). As such I would say the 0 to 6 month size is better described as 3 to 6 months.2) the rim is too floppy (she is now 3.5 months - measuring at average height of a 6 month girl) and yet the hat rim is too long and floppy. If i am walking around with her, I constanrly have to move it out from her lower face

So cute
We bought this for our future grandson as our son (his daddy) always wore one. We can't wait to see it on his sweet little head.

Just buy it
This hat is so soft and comfy for babies! We love that it’s adjustable so that it fits snugly on our baby’s head. The only reason I took off a star is because of the under-chin tie. A mechanism similar to the adjustable string around the head would be more practical! The tie is difficult to tie on a moving baby, and the king strings get in his mouth.

Worth it
Amazon is generally not the cheapest place to buy these, except for the least expensive colours (I got grey) my toddler can hopefully wear these for another two years (she’s 26 months now) and then hand them down. She wears them so often that she doesn’t like to go outside without one anymore! I guess the key, as with anything and toddlers is consistency.

Brim too floppy and big
The head portion fits well enough but the adjuster at the back is too flimsy and would loosen on its own. The hat brim is also too flimsy, so it obstructs my baby’s view resulting in him yanking it off. However he looks adorable in it. if there’s no wind blowing and he’s not moving and trying to pull it off it a good buy. He normally doesn’t mind wearing hats or have anything on his head. I would get the style with smaller brim next time.

Definitely the better type of sunhat!!!
So I find that, for some reason, the baby girl sun hats focus more on the appearance than the actual sun protection. So I was so glad when I found this hat. It provided great sun coverage for my newborn (who can’t wear sunscreen yet!). It made me feel reassured that her face was protected from sun rays. The quality is awesome. The adjustable drawstring provides flexibility and duration in use. Would definitely buy again.
