Of course, this was after searching unsuccessfully at Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Lowes for Sharp replacement belts (those stores carried a lot of the latest model vacuum cleaner belts, like Bissell, Hoover and Shark, but not Sharp).The package arrived via USPS on schedule, but when I opened it to remove the product, what I found was disappointing. There were two belts in a clear plastic bag that read nothing more than '2-Pack Vacuum Replacement Belts for Uprights' which did not match the packaging photo on Amazon. What lead me to not open the plastic bag to test one of the belts was the fact that they looked identical to a particular set of Shark replacement belts I'd been sifting through around town (at Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Lowes--one thing I noticed during my Sharp belt search was belt size: the Sharp belt is pretty big compared to other vacuum brand belts, including Shark). Holding the plastic bag up to the light, writing on the belts said 'for use with Shark' (with a 'k').Amazon online returns for this item was a catch-22 menu experience, but Amazon phone customer service refunded my purchase price immediately and sent me an email link for the free UPS return label. I was tempted to re-order with Allied, but I couldn't find a convenient way to include a note with my order (and I didn't want to wait for a reply to seller feedback). Either the package I received failed to convince me that those small Shark belts would have fit my Sharp, or I got unlucky with a product order error. I will try a different Amazon merchant for Sharp.L. Reid ### ⭐⭐⭐ Most Generic Belts Ever *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2014* Ordered this twin-pack of belts when I changed out one on my old Sharp vacuum. The price was right, and they came quickly. But holy cow: could the packaging get any MORE generic?! The two belts were in a transparent zip-loc bag, with a stock number, and that's it. No model number at all, so I can't be sure these are the right belts unless I take the vacuum apart again and try one! But I just installed a new belt- that's why I ordered more. If these are, indeed, the correct replacement belts, then they are an excellent buy, and I'm glad I got 'em. But from the nearly unmarked plastic bag they came in, I have no way of knowing what they are, who made them, etc. Just be aware that the packaging looks NOTHING like the product illustration.
