I don't like the way the end cap is fitted. The knife does not come with a razor sharp edge as I expect on a new blade.

It's nice. I would give it a higher review i it wasn't so expensive. I think for the price, and for the quality, 4 stars is about right.

This knife is definitely stamped. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. Comes razor sharp from the factory. Has held up well so far with regular use.

Love this knife. Cared for and honed between uses, this is my go to knife for practically every application. Edge is consistent and very sharp. I agree with some other reviews that the fit and finish of the handle isn't top of the line, with the end cap not quite the same size as the handle, (or maybe the micarta handle contracted during the curing process), but that doesn't mean it's uncomfortable in the hand. Like a lot of asian style knives, the handle is round, unlike european style knives which are more square. Being a full tang knife, balance is very good, with a generous bolster for even the fattest of fingers. If you're looking for a quality knife on a budget, I couldn't recommend this more. With the money you saved, buy a good honing steel and a whetstone, and this knife should last you for years to come.

But the fit of the bolster and end cap could have been better. Overall a nice knife, but QC could be better.

Can hardly believe the price, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a re-stamp, if not it's a very good knock-off!Weighted almost perfect, came with a good edge, feels like the real deal, cuts beautifully and water and solids behave like they should to the Damascus edge.I haven't re-sharpened the edge yet, time will tell how well it takes and holds.I will update if the knife does not pass the test of time.

This knife is heavy, sharp, and really pretty to look at. It's also very well balanced and comes in a nice little case (if you plan to give it as a gift)I would purchase this again for a gift. The handle is nice wood, although you can't really tell that from the picture.It's 70 bucks or so cheaper than bigger names, but i think it's just as nice.
