Minimizes amount of knot tying to attach hooks and rigs to main line. Been using these for 55 years. They're a little pricey but in my opinion worth the money.

Quick and sturdy
I've been out of fishing for 15 years due to coaching..I used to use these then for ease of putting on hooks but also the ability to adjust depths on the fly without having to tie. Very quick work and have held up to 20lb catfish
