Hard to put the book down once you start reading
This book gives an excellent depiction and description of the many aspects of the Manifestations of God that God sends to is for our human benefit. Sources many Bahรก'รญ writings and other religious sources to help us glean a better understanding of the exalted nature and selflessness of God's Manifestations.

Brilliant author writes another winner!
John Hatcher has such a wonderful style of writing and explaining Baha'i concepts that his books (and he has written several) are as hard to put down as a thrilling novel. This is one of his best. Worth not just one but several readings for his outstanding presentation of the concept of Progressive Revelation.

Outstanding exposition of our relationship to God and Him Messengers
Wow! Just finished reading this book and am starting over. John Hatcher has taken a very deep and extensive subject and broken it down into pieces small enough to grasp. Drawing on the Scriptures of three major religions (Baha'i Faith, Islam and Christianity), the author explains the nature of God's Messengers, Their methods of educating us and the sacrifices They make for us. Many of us are familiar with the idea of sacrifice as exemplified in Jesus' death on the cross or Baha'u'llah's loss of His son in Akka, but the author points out that these wonderful Beings know before They are born what they will face -- and They choose to come to us anyways out of love for us and a wish to educate us. Hatcher also explains the concept of "fully God and fully man" in terms I can finally understand -- though a second reading is indicated to fully understand his explanation of this subject.I don't usually do reviews, as I do not feel my skill in writing them matches that of many here, but just had to recommend this book. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
