Interesting ideas
This book presents some very interesting ideas that might be very good at restoring someone's dental health. They might be useful in maintaining general health. I haven't tried them for long enough to know. But the ideas do make sense. Read the book and see for yourself.

Easy to read with enlightening information. Explains how to heal teeth and gums.
I bought this book in the hopes of helping my 6 year old's multiple cavities.Knowing the author has been through what he's writing about, with success, is awesome. The book is an easy read. I have implemented some of the suggestions so far, and the cavities are not getting worse. My own gums do not bleed like they used to, after implementing ideas in the book. Many suggestions in the book resonate with truth and my own research in the last 5 years. He has tirelessly researched many supplements and nutrient dense foods, and explains why they can help. He goes into vitamins and what lots of average people are missing. This book is a great resource for getting teeth health back!

Update links, otherwise great!
I am starting to put the recommendations in this book in place in my life and hope to have good before and after pics I can add to my review! The only downside of this book, and the reason I did 4 stars instead of 5, is that most of the links seem to go to websites and pages that no longer exist. The links need updating.

Definitely Worth a Try!
This book delivers on its promise to treat teeth through nutrition a little more simply and less expensively. The only thing that bothered me about the book is that I am concerned that if you are going to use a liquid D & K supplement instead of actual cod liver oil, you are going to be missing out on the pre-formed vitamin A and EPA and DHA that cod liver oil would have provided. In the long term, could this cause trouble for some people? It is true, on the other hand, that some people need more vitamin D than what they can absorb from cod liver oil, because c.l.o. is difficult to digest. The bit about gelatin as a supplement was something that I hadn't heard much about before, and it made a huge difference in my gums in just a few days!

Good easy read
Good easy read. I read the Other Book on tooth decay and honestly the idea of going through eliminating grains, taking massive spoons of FCLO and so on was daunting! Joey's suggestions as much easier and more practical to implement. The title is misleading, thought catchy (hence my 4 stars) as he says that he didn't heal his teeth by eating buckets of sugar. But it's reassuring to know that I don't have to feel horribly guilty everytime I have some pop or a homemade dessert, or over the fact that my children eat grains and dairy products (as well as bone broth and lots of good real food).

I like how simple it is
Honestly this approach takes a huge burden off of me for not being able to do the regimen suggested by the other cure TOOTH decay book. I'm a mom of four and I don't have time or money to do so, try feeding your 6 year old fermented cod liver oil, it takes an hour each morning just to convince them to eat it, and lots of juice to wash it down. I'm a firm believer of keeping it simple. I appreciate Joey Lott for helping me to see a more simple alternative that has worked for him. It sounds reasonable and we will try it and see how it works for us. I like how he brings metabolism into the whole equation and how it's important to eat lots of real food. Restricting calories has been detrimental to our society. Overall it was very informative and an easy read. Thanks for sharing!

good advice for tooth health
started using the butter oil and cod liver oil that had been sitting in the refrigerator unused, decided to eat more items that I had stopped eating because of gum pain. My diet was full of fresh fruits and veggies. used my vitamin D and C, used minerals to rebuild my enamel , I brushed with a tooth and gum healthy powder, I am now able to eat again. Your book was easy to read quicklythanks for your advice.

Excellent information
After much intense studying on the topic of healing teeth, this book came as a relief that we are making good decisions for our daughter's teeth. Our diet has been very strict however, and I am now looking forward to adding a few fruits and other favorites back into our diet. The teeth are healing, and we are excited about that! We are reversing tooth decay for our 4 year old that the dentist wanted to do root canals on. I chop our liver and hide it in our meatloaf. We like bone broth, bentonite clay, kefir milk, stevia, lots of milk and butter, and we enjoy seaweed snacks. We eat mostly meats and veggies. I am always on the lookout for more snacks though. Adding fruits will help. Thank you for this book!

It's a good book to open your mind to
It's a good book to open your mind to. The message I understood it to be not to buy into all that your told about whats good for you and what's not as far as foods concerned. But wether or not joey's food will work for anyone else I don't know.
