No need for a second person. Very easy to install- Solid construction except for one issue. See below.- The steel vertical bar (A) that hangs on to the mount and the curved steel vertical bar (B) that attaches to the TV are connected solely by plastic inserts in the grooves to enable tilting at the desired angle. When one installs the screw that holds tilt in a certain position, that is the only piece of metal that connects A and B transferring the TV load from B to the wall mount via A.- So, even if you are not using tilt, DO install the screw that holds the TV in a certain position. You don't want to rely on plastic sliders to hold A & B.- It seems secure but I would have preferred to see a strong metal pivot connecting A and B. Deducted 1 star for that. My TV weighs only 28 lbs and since the mount is claimed to support up to 165 lbs, it should be OK.- You may want to use the supplied spacers when attaching the vertical bars to the TV if you want more clearance from the wall. I didn't use the spacers and there wasn't enough room to put one's hand behind the TV for tightening the tilt screw to retain the desired position. Also, connect all cables / wires first before hoisting the TV onto the mount :-)- Built-in level was useful. Did double check with a longer level.- Excellent value for the money. Can be improved. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good mount *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2019* I looked at a lot of wall mounts on Amazon for my new 40" TV and this one appealed the most to me for some reason. It is made of very sturdy metal (rated at 165 lbs. I believe) and after installing it I trust it to hold my TV securely. One tip you may want to consider if you buy this one: The hardware comes with 8 spacers for the screws -- 4 smaller ones and 4 larger ones. I used the 4 smaller ones for my TV and -- even though that's not why they were included -- the 4 larger spacers for the screws that screw into your wall studs. This will let you screw them in tightly using a small wrench instead of having to deal with an electric drill. This wall mount doesn't have the smallest depth of all the mounts you can buy on Amazon, but since my TV has a built-in DVD player in back I wanted a little extra room behind it to insert and remove the discs. Also, since I elected to tilt the TV down there's only about an inch of space at the bottom anyway. BTW, the built-in bubble level worked fine for me (unlike some people who like to complain about anything). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The mount was great. It was priced incredibly low compared to other similar mounts (I think we got it for $23) and functions perfectly. It has plenty of holes so you can fit it to a stud on your wall and get the TV centered just where you want it (as the TV can slide on the mount left and right to center and then lock in place). We hung a 42'' LED TV and it covered the mount behind it.The only knocks I'd give it is that the level on the mount is crap. Do not use it. Use your own level if you want a level TV. And the instructions are pretty poor. It comes with a variety of screws and bolts but never quite tells you if, when and how to use them. It seems like the largest bolts are for mounting into a cement or brick wall. So if you plan on screwing into drywall or studs behind the drywall, I'd plan on using your own screws/drywall mounts. If you go and buy 4 screws for studs that's like $1, so I don't think that's worth voting this down.
