Hunting Game Feeder, Green, 100LB -1000LB Capacity

This is my second capsule 250. Has never plugged. One battery is 3 yrs old and still going. This is my go to feeder. It’s not quiet, but that is of little importance to me. It holds just over 200lbs corn. Not quite 250lbs. It is always functioning when I arrive. I have confidence in this feeder. No coon waste. Love the ground level fill. I’ve moved mine several times. Empty the corn and it rolls onto the 4 wheeler trailer or tractor bucket. It’s more awkward than overly heavy. The tire does not come with it! I called a tire shop and asked for a junk semi tire. They connected me with another business who deals with semi tires. Yes the semi tires are free in my experience. 4 screws come in kit for mounting. Don’t buy a semi tire for this. The motor is 12 volt and does not lack power for food distribution- mine is older 1 speed job- shoots corn out to 25-30’ radius! Less worries about deer concentration and disease spreading.

Didn't last 24 hours, the green shell is fine but there are design flaws all over this thing right down to the spacing for the cage/motor and not enough seal/connection between the base and green upper unit which was easily shredded by my tuskers. My local sounder ripped it off the tire from first night and destroyed the unit systematically for the following 2 months despite multiple attempts at innovation. Unfortunately, if you are in an area of heavy hog traffic this unit will not get the job done. I had very high expectations, but they were found lacking.

This feeder has been running for 6 weeks with no issues. Happy with it so far. A few observations as to why only 4 stars:1. The hardware was loose in the box, which sustained some damage during shipping, and the washers escaped. I had to buy $10 more washers at Lowe's. Hardware should be bagged and stored in the control head.2. The solar panel should be recessed and flush on the top. As it is, you screw it down on top and it will be easy for a bear to tear it off. I have not had a bear encounter yet.3. It is rated 250#, but you will struggle to get 200# of corn in it. Not a deal breaker for me but you should know.4. It will only scatter corn about 15'. The spinner is only 2' off the ground so that's about all gravity will allow. The motor is very strong and the spinner spins hard. Again, not a deal breaker for me.5. I bought the bear proof cage directly from the manufacturer. Expensive, but worth it to keep bears, hogs, and coons away from damaging the spinner plate.I'm very happy so far. The timer is easy to set and very reliable. I would definitely buy another one.

Squirrels can chew it up if you set it in a truck tire with no rim

This was doomed from the beginning. Apparently the manufacture has never set one up. Nothing noted that it must be anchored with a tire, bottom is round. Auger was too long and had to be cut down, Once mounted to the tire holes no longer lined up and had to be re drilled. Spinner plate only had 1/4" space and top PVC had to be cut down. Bottom PVC also had to be cut down so corn could reach the auger. When you call customer service it asks you to leave a message and immediately hangs up. I would not recommend this to a beginner. Make sure you carry lots of tools to the field.

This is absolutely the best deer feeder I have EVER used. I set for 15 seconds in morning and 15 seconds in evening and it works flawlessly every time!! Will not clog or fall over, deer cannot tip it over, very weather proof also!!

Well so much for varmit proof !! Squirrel’s chewed a hole in the top inside the varmit cage and were getting in it eating!! VARMIT PROOF MY YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!
