I was VERY reluctant to order this product because at checkout Amazon tells you it will NOT ship in a box. I thought what was pictured in the listing is what would be delivered with a shipping label taped to it. I also thought there was a good chance that the sticks could be cracked and broken from this shipping method. I was happy when I received and opened the package because it not only shipped in a box but it was shipped in 2 boxes! The product seems factory new in a Franklin box, and then the Franklin box was put inside of an Amazon box! The hockey sticks had a small white zip tie holding them together but that was all the packaging they had if you can even call it that. The product is official NHL licensed and is great for kids playing just like other reviews stated. This is not a shortcut to competitive hockey equipment. What is IS good for is playing with my 7 year old in the basement! Because some complained about the durability of the ball I ordered 3 extra NHL balls. However, this orange ball seems super tough and I'm not sure how the hockey stick could break it. If your kids like hockey buy this today! If the sticks or ball break I will update this review immediately!

Perfect for outdoor street hockey

Bought these for my 12-14 year olds to play street hockey. They were a bit small for them while on their roller blades and would definitely be a better size for a younger child, I'd say 6-10 yrs old. The material is holding up, aside from the plastic graphics wrap that started peeling off after about 2-3 weeks.

My son and I play “hallway hockey on out terrazzo floors every day. We got 5+ years out of the first set. The graphics peeled off after about 4 years. And finally today one stick broke and pinched his finger. That’s hockey! Ordering replacement sticks ASAP.***If your trying to use these for street hockey, you will be disappointed.

Well, because they were only $9.99 and my kids wanted hockey sticks, I made this purchase. I forgot I had ordered them, and was shocked when they arrived alone in a giant box. Within 10 seconds, the blade of one of the sticks flew off with my 3 year old's first swing of the stick. A small plastic bump is supposed to fit in a hole on the stick; however, there was not bump on that blade. Since there is nothing quite like duct tape on a brand new toy, I taped it up and 3 days later, the kid's have been having fun in the yard with them every day. If the one stick was not defective (why pay $7 to return ship a $10 product), I would have given a 5 star, with a caveat that they are not high quality, but well worth the $9.99. I almost gave a 1 star, but for the money, the 3 was fair.

Ideal for me and my two year old to start the obsession!
