LEGELITE2 Pack GX24 Led Bulbs 12W 1200Lumen 85-265V AC 3000K Warm White(Remove/Bypass Your Ballast)

This bulb produced more light than I thought it did. It does require bypassing the ballast, but it isn't as hard as it sounds. After bypassing, it is just as simple as plugging the new bulb in. I read several reviews on other led bulbs that did't sound the best. I decided to give this bulb a try. I only use this bulb in a light when I enter my barn. I will see how long it last and update my review from there

I bought several of these last November, a pair of them are dead now. Both of these in the same fixture, so I don't know when the first one died, but when I opened the fixture today, both were dead, one completely off, the other occasionally flashing on.EDIT: May 8, 2024: Back when I originally posted this, LEGELITE did send me two replacement bulbs. Once again, THE REPLACEMENT ONES LASTED ONLY 8 MONTHS. They were both dead a couple days ago (again, I don't know when the first one died, just that both were dead now). LEDs SHOULD LAST LONGER THAN 8 MONTHS -- 8, or maybe 15 YEARS would be more like it. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!I did disconnect the ballast before installing these bulbs.When I click on the warranty link on the Amazon page it just tells me to contact the seller, but all attempts to click on any LEGELITE link just takes me back to their product listing, no contact info, no warranty info.

The ballast in the bathroom ceiling fixture failed and no replacement was available. I removed the ballast, spliced a few wires and replaced the fluorescent lamps with these.Fired right up out of the box and are plenty bright.A lot cheaper than replacing the entire light/fan.

These are great. This is a good upgrade to fluorescent. WARNING, you do have to do some electrical work if you still have the fluorescent ones. It is not a big issue if you are comfortable with this kind of work. I found it easy to do and the outcome is rewarding. We have them on a heavy usage area and they are working fine.

Ordered 24 bulbs and had 1 defective in the batch.Instructions on the box were clear and accurate.You must remove the ballast for the bulb to work.I chose this bulb because the ballasts were starting to fail and this is an excellent alternative to replacing the ballast and bulbs.

I ordered 2 bulbs to test out this product in our fixture. Once we removed the light ballasts the bulbs worked amazing. My only complaint was we went back (one week later) to order 50 more and the product was no longer available.

First the box that it came in smelled like human feces. I’m not joking. But I was so desperate that I used them anyway since I needed them for my laundry room and difficult to do laundry without light. Once plugged in they didn’t work. As I pulled them out they fell apart. I’ve never had lamp bulbs fall apart like that, much less come in human feces smelling box. Unbelievable. I’m just going to a regular hardware store.

It is a very nice LED bulb, but this will not work unless you bypass the ballast
