SRAM PG1070 10-Speed Cassette

I use and own the Sram 1070 cassette in 11-28 and 11-32 and both have worked like a charm on Ultegra, 105, Rival, and Force drive trains. I've used the Sram 1050 and 1091R chains with 1070 cassettes and a couple Shimano and KMC chains and everything worked fine from that perspective too.The 1070 cassette (as well as the slightly heavier 1050 cassette) is great because it combines a modest cost with great durability and sprocket-tooth options. Most of the time I ride using a 11-26 or 11-28 cassette, but when heading for a ride with tough hills (e.g., 15%-20% grades in the California mountains and hills), I'll switch to a 11-32 cassette. (My girlfriend, in fact, rides using a 11-32 Sram 1070 almost always and loves the wide gearing it his gives her with a compact 50/34 crankset.) I have several thousand miles on the 1070 cassettes I own and they still look great and shift like new. The semi-sprocket carrier design is also a lot easier to clean than my Sram 1090 cassettes (which are basically a three-piece design)--this is a nice bonus because a cleaner drive system generally lasts longer, shifts better, and is easier to pedal. :-)Although it is not an ultra-light design--like Sram Red, Shimano Dura Ace, or Campy Super Record--the 1070 is tough-as-nails and about 1/4 to 1/3 the price as its costly counterparts, which is definitely a factor if you don't have sponsor for your riding habit! (I know I don't...) :-) I would recommend the 1070 (as well as the 1050) cassette to anyone who is looking for a reliable, cost-effective cassette that still offers great performance. Thanks!

Converted my old road bike to a 1x10. Nice cassette. Shifts perfectly.

Good value for money. The finish on the cassette looks beautiful. Nice and shiny. Adds bling to my bike. Also the perfect cog sizes for me 11-36t is all I will ever need with a 26t chainring. This cassette weighs about 360 grams which is acceptable even for my 23.9lbs mountain bike because it is tough and will outlast any of those Aluminum cogs on the other slightly lighter cassettes. I went with this all steel cassette for durability and it has proven to be a solid cassette that's fair in weight relatively light for all steel with good coating and great on price value for money. I Love the PG1070 would recommend.

A very nice competition worthy performance cassette. Extremely snappy shifting with my tiagra 4800 rear mech. Packaging a little confusing: box says 10 speed but only 9 cogs are visible. To save space, the smallest cog is packed underneath where it cannot be seen. Holding the box you cannot verify if that cog is 11 or 12 teeth (which made me reluctant to open the box and have any return issues).A few hundred miles later the cogs show minimal wear and shifting is still sharp. I am careful to wipe down my chain and relube it as well as brush off the cassette with simple green.I have run the 11 cog variant if this cassette and am pleased with it. I will buy another when this wears out.

I needed an additional two higher gears on my gravel bike as I found out the Kansas is indeed not flat. Now I can power up some of these gravel roads when the route seems to go upward more than the map described. No adjustments were required because mine was already a SRAM drivetrain. Works great and the bigger gears were very much needed and appreciated.
