A Thousand Seeds of Joy: Teachings of Lakshmi and Saraswati (Ascended Goddesses Series)

Review
This publication is a masterpiece work on the teachings of goddesses Laxmi and Ssaraswati. However, there are many instances where the information presented is at variance with what we know from some other authentic sources. In the case of Master Jesus the Christ, the author fails to recognize that Jesus and the Christ are two distinct personalities. The so-called Jesus( better known as Master Sananda on the inner planes), who incarnated as Yeshua( Joshua in English) in Judea was only a third-degree initiate at that time.During the last three years of his Ministry he was overshadowed by Lord Maitreya who occupies the office of the Planetary Christ and is also the President of the Spiritual Hierarchy. Lord Maitreya was Jesus's guru and teacher on the inner plane. In his life as Jesus the Christ he took the fourth initiation at the time of his crucifixion. Jesus reincarnated nine years later as Appollonius of Tyanna and took his fifth initiation. Finally, in his last incarnation in the Syrian Body, he ascended(see, The Untold Story of Jesus the Christ by Joshua D. Stone). Also it was not the case of a virgin birth. In a channeled work, Jesus Scrolls, by D. Gutoski, Master St. Germain who incarnated as Joseph in that lifetime, says "Mary and I were married when Jesus was born and no, she was not a virgin. It was a normal birth at home ,safe and sound , on May 15th." Of course, you can not tell these things to a modern day Christian because all these things go against their belief system. He also refers to Jesus as the only Son of God. We should know that we all are sons and daughters of God. As a matter of fact, every person ,animal, plant and mineral is an incarnation of the Eternal Self. It is somewhat ironical to regard Gautama Buddha, the most ungodly but God-like teacher, as an avatara of Vishnu.( though he is regarded as such in Vaishnava Hinduism). He is the greatest and very ancient spirit who ever came to this planet ( these are the words of a great cosmic Master, Lord Surya, from the Great Central Sun.) He originally came from Venus and was a chela of Lord Sanata Kumara who came to planet Earth as planetary logos( Lord of the World) nearly 18 million and five hundred thousand years ago. In Mahayana Buddhism, Sanata Kumara is known as Buddha Dipankara. Sanata Kumara prophesied that Bhiksu Sumedh( meaning Gautama's ancient embodiment) will one day become a great Buddha.Gautama was the first Buddha to emanate from planet Earth, All other Buddhas have come from other planets, especially the Venus.Gautama has had many other illustrious lifetimes on this planet, notably as Thoth in Egypt, King of Atlantis, Veda Vyasa and as Zarathustra in Persia, among others, before incarnating as Prince Siddhartha.( see enclosed listing). It might be of interest know that in 1994, Lord Sanata Kumara left for his cosmic evolution and since then Gautama occupies the office of planetary logos. The author mentions Gita as teachings from Lord Krishna to Arjuna It is almost inconceivable that Gita was delivered in the midst of a horrendous war. It is a magnum opus piece of literary work, most likely composed by a great poet/sage Vyasa or others, in their profound state of meditation( see, Who Wrote Bhagvad Gita by M. Desai). Here, Krishna personifies a Divine Teacher and Arjuna as an earnest seeker. It is similar to Rama Gita in Adhyatma Ramayana where Rama symbolizes a Divine Teacher and Laxamana as an earnest student It should be highlighted that Mahabharata as an epic is not a chronicle of the actual war that took place in the ancient past. Many of the characters in Mahabharata are past historical figures while many others simply designate spiritual symbolism. For example, Draupadi born in a Yagya ceremony( sacrificial fire) is a symbolism for Kundalani Shakti and five Pandava brothers personify the five lower chakras. Dhritrashtra as a blind king stands for a spiritually benighted soul, while his hundred sons symbolize for 10 psychological/spiritual aberrations of each of our 10 senses ( five senses of actions and five of perception.) (see Gita commentary of Swami Yogananda).

Different perspectives. Good book to use in Religion Studies.
This is a great book for those that are already intrigued and followers of Hinduism or Buddhism. Author Ananda Karunesh had a spiritual awakening when he was 19 years old and has spent the last 33 years continuing meditation and spirituality practices. He opens himself up to his readers in the prologue of the book. Giving the reader some insight into his life, his passion for spirituality, and his connection with the goddesses. This connection to him opened the book up for me to fully engage and trust in the author. I loved how he chose to present each chapter through the voice of the goddesses themselves as they teach the reader about this history, culture, religion, impact, and philosophy. A Thousand Seeds of Joy strives to teach the reader forgotten narratives but also present a way of looking toward the future. Of creating a future that ends suffering and engages deeply in love and togetherness. It is this fundamental desire of the book that makes it such an intense and beautiful story. My favorite sections reading this book were the deep looks at the goddesses and deities and being given information on a subject that I knew very little about going in. I also really liked the structure of the narrative itself. Karunesh poses questions to the goddesses and presents their answers. In this way, the book is set up a conversation. There are long answers, short answers, and often clarifying questions and answers. By doing this, the book is able to weave natural through subjects as conversation do, finding points of interest and knowledge within a subject. This flow made the book easy to read and kept me engaged. I found this book to be not only very informative but incredibly moving to read. I would recommend this book.

Answers the Burning Questions
A Thousand Seeds of Joy asks the big questions. Like: What if suffering could end… not in some distant way, but very soon, even today? What if many divine beings, including your own higher self, are present here and now, to help you attain this freedom from suffering? And many more. The book focuses on these questions by looking at the teaching of Lakshmi and Saraswati. Author Ananda Karunesh has written this book with the earnest desire of sharing teaching and moving toward a better world for all. I really appreciated that in this work Karunesh is focusing on the feminine but strives to use this word outside of its strict gender lines. Feminine a concept, feeling, space, rather than a societal expectation. In doing so, he does not exclude those that do not fit this gender definition but can still benefit from the ideas and teachings he is presenting. The book itself is told through a series of question and answer discussion between Karunesh and the goddesses; Lakshmi and Saraswati. Before getting into this section of the book though, Karunesh takes the time to explain his own connection spirituality and the goddesses themselves. In doing so, Karunesh creates an understanding of why he is presenting the book this way. The questions range greatly as they move naturally as a conversation. In letting the goddesses speak for themselves in the narrative, there is a closer connection between reader and goddess, and I felt it helped me with my own understanding of their answers. The questions are about everything from the self, love, destiny, chakras, to more concrete questions about myth and history. If you are at all interested in learning more about Buddhist and Hindu religions and teachings, as well as spiritual journeys, then I would highly recommend giving this book a read.
