The character first appeared in Detective Comics #27 (May 1939), and since then has appeared primarily in publications by DC Comics. Ok for kids
It’s a great starter watch for a kid. It’s not super durable though. The Velcro starts to fray a lot because young kids don’t sleep with a watch on so the on and off start to wear the Velcro down. We have had it for 6 months and one of the pins that holds the band on fell out and it lost

Minute numbers wore off after just a few days.
My son loved this watch and was thrilled to receive it. But when we opened the package, we noticed half the 30 on the black outer band had been smudged off. After just two days of wear, almost half the other numbers have worn away. Picture below. He is devastated to send this back, but since it’s a “time teacher” those numbers are kind of important!!!

pin fell out of the band 2x in the first month
One of the pins that holds on the band fell out 2x in the first month. The second time the pin fell out the watch was lost. My son didn't realize it had fallen off. He was really sad. I was really angry that I had spent money on this watch. I bought it so my son could learn to tell time. I will not buy from this seller again.

Still ticking after a year
This watch has surprised me. On one hand it is still alive! After almost a year of abuse from a 6yo and 3yo it is still ticking! On the other they wear it so often the Velcro had worn out and I had to replace all the Velcro. But both watches are still ticking, and have kept the correct time too!

Great watch otherwise...
I really thought this was a great watch. It has numbers, instead of bars or roman numerals, for the hours, which is great for learning how to tell time. 'HOUR' and 'MINUTE' written on the hands, and velcro for easy-on and easy-off. The one feature I thought was missing, was that it's not water resistant. Okay, so that wasn't a deal breaker and I bought the watch anyways. But who would have thought that the numbers on the bezel would rub off if it got wet. That's the part, I don't like.

Do you have a kid that loves Batman? And needs to learn to tell time? This watch is FOR YOU!
I bought this watch for my second grader for Christmas. He was only painfully able to tell time with an analog clock, and I thought he could use a little boost. He was extremely excited to receive a watch, and then even more so when he realized it was Batman. I like how it's an easy velcro strap, so he can put it on and take it off himself. I also like that the face isn't huge, but we can still easily read both sets of numbers to tell the time. The one thing I would change, if I could, is that above the 12 it says 60. I know it's set for 60 minutes, but that's confusing to a child trying to tell what time it is. I wish it said 00 instead. That doesn't take away anything from our enjoyment of the watch, it's just a personal preference. The quality is nice, it seems to hold up really well, especially since it's an irresponsible 7 year old boy wearing it to school and around while he plays. I would definitely recommend this watch for both learning to tell time and just as an accessory for any boy or girl that loves Batman.

Just arrived, son loves it! So of course I love it!I have a story attached to this watch lol Read at your own willI homeschool my little guy ( age 3 1/2) and he has just mastered his ' time telling' skill! So as an exciting reward, I decided to get him a watch to practice on. It arrives, and I sneak to his papa and tell him to give it to him as a gift for his exception class participation, math skills and 'time telling' skills. So this works nicely, and my son is fastening his watch around his little wrist.. and casually says " Mama, you said you wanted to get me a watch, and papa got me a watch first" I said yea, that is pretty neat, we are a team and we think alike sometimes =)He then says " But mama, he got it first, and you didnt.. are you the loser? " ( Thanks Auntie for teaching my sweet little man about " Winners & Losers " lolSo I say ( trying to hold back my laughter ) " Nah.. not really.. I dont feel like a loser, I think it was very nice of papa to get this amazing watch for you " As I hear my hubby trying to contain his laughter... he goes" your mom is a winner, if you only knew " lolMy son then says.. " But this time, she is the loser." I wasn't expecting too much, since it is very inexpensive, but the velcro on the wristband ripped off the first time my 8 year old tried to take the watch off. Pin also broke that was holding on the watch face. He got to wear it once, disappointed.

Great starter watch!
Got this for my nephew for back to school for grade 1. Very easy to read and looks great. The only issue is the outside numbers that help read the time rub off very easily. The paint used for the outside numbers is not very high quality.

Everything you want to teach is on this watch
My grandson was fascinated with my watch so I bought him this one. He wears it and shows it to everyone and is now learning to tell time. What's remarkable is that he's only 2 years old. He loves the watch.

Quality control is absolute trash.
This came brand new, in a nice tin.The watch works, looks great.Son opened it on XMAS and one of the little silver bars that holds the strap on was missingnot on the watch, not in the tin. cant return because it was purchased ahead of timeso now he has a watch where the face flops all over the place.If youre going to buy this, check it over 3 times.

El segundero se atora con el minutero, francamente el producto se envió en tiempo llegó con la caja sellada, en principio creí que faltaba un perno, busqué en la caja y lo encontré y se lo puse. El reloj sigue con la mica puesta, si no está preparado para ser usado por un niño por lo menos deberían avisar.
