Blue light was messing me up. Especially during lockdown. Got this .. I was worried about the installation process. It was easy. READ the INSTRUCTIONS! Also bear in mind that the stickers are double-sided and both sides have to be peeled off to expose their sticky end. Mine has been up and working fine for a month. Most importantly the headaches and sense of tight skin from blue light has gone. I can spend hours at my computer ( I'm doing 10 hour days at work) and I'm fine. I use this cover and I set my Mac to Night Time mode. Together they do a great job of blocking out the blue light. Very happy. It's a Strong Recommend from me.

This screen protector has NO adhesion on its own, so you have to use the supplied double-sided stickers to attach it to your screen.There was also no isopropyl alcohol included with the pack, only a dry microfibre cloth.Since the stickers only go at the edge of the screen and the protector has no adhesion, it's not possible to get a good contact (there's nothing holding it on in the middle of the screen) and as a result the screen has an ugly stain pattern, where the parts that touch the screen are tinted orange and the rest remain white.The provided stickers/tape leaves ugly marks on your screen, which are visible through the protector. (See attached images)This is so poorly designed, it will make your screen ugly with orange splotches and the stickers are visible, it looks like a screen crack.Please don't waste your money on this.

I searched for a tempered glass screen protector and as the occushield information does not mention “flimsy plastic design” in the description I had assumed the product was what I had specified in the search. Easy enough to install but the product dulls the high definition MacBook screen. Presumably because of the blue light filters. I feel the product feels and looks to be of cheap construction but at a hefty £39 price.

FAULTY ITEM! I have bought the ocushield screen protector for my I phone before and it was fine, but this lap top version for my mac is hurting my eyes. When I applied, I cannot see my screen clearly, there are horizontal lines throughout the screen in various colours. This looks like a faulty item. And worst part is it's been stuck on so I don't know if I can even remove it. It has ruined my device.

I was really excited to get this product, as I had heard a lot of good things about OccuShield, and as a programmer, I am on my laptop all the time. However, the plastic holders do not work. It will not keep the filter in place at all. I tried the blue stickers that came with the pack, and followed Occushield's own installation video exactly, but absolutely nothing worked. If you buy this product, all you are doing is buying a grey sheet of filter paper. I'm so disappointed and feel very ripped off - this is not a cheap product, and honestly, if you buy this, you'll be throwing almost £40 down the drain.

I was diagnosed with severe eye strain and dry eye. Got one of these for my phone and mac, it works great. Now I want one for my monitor as that is painful but the fees are quite high. I do feel it's a quality item so I presume worth the money if in your current budget! I recommend.

The film works well, blocking excessive light and keep privacy. The way to hang the protection film is not very tidy/ state- of-art. And it is definitely pricy.

Nicely packaged, it feels like a premium product and the installation instructions were very clear.The privacy function works well so I have no worries about people snooping whilst I work on the train or in a coffee shop and after a few weeks of use my eyes don't feel as tired as normal after a day of staring at my laptopThe best part is it allows my Macbook to fully close unlike the magnetic type of privacy screen I previously had.
