How do you make the chutney? There are no instructions on the packet

I just add a couple of tablespoons to my pot of chicken and vegetables to taste. It is good. Sometimes I add a little curry powder to add to the flavor.

Buyer beware - not the same clean formula

This USED to be a product with clean ingredients as shown in the images (former ingredient list: Blackgram dal (84%), Red chilli, Salt, Lemon concentrate, Mustard, Curry leaves, Asafoetida). Not anymore. The new formulation being sold is an “export pack” and has some additional ingredients that are not clean, including maltodextrin and artificial lemon flavor (WHY??). NOT the same thing. Highly misleading to not update the images, as the product is not returnable. And just so it’s clear, the former product was delicious as it was — there was absolutely NO need to add artificial flavor. Will not purchase again.

Flavor galore!

Wonderful combo of spices - really good on cabbage or brussels sprouts. Also used as a rub - mostly made up of a flavorful dal (blackgram), then red chili, salt, lemon concentrate (tastes like the zest), mustard, curry leaves and asafoetida.

Good Indian Grocery Product made easily available in the US, with very reasonable expiry period of the product. Delivery was quick . Prices could be lesser. Same product in India is at 1/4th price.

Used to be a good product, not anymore

The product used to be good with natural ingredients. The product was “updated” to include lab made ingredients and flavors. Also the product isn’t eligible for return. Do not recommend for uses
