Beautiful product. It was the only light fixture I didn’t buy and return because the gold part of the fixture is actual gold metal (brass)— it’s not painted on like many of the other fixtures available on amazon. The brass is the right color to match my kitchen cabinet knobs (champagne gold color). The black is also pure black (not brownish).The quality is really nice. It matched the rest of my house lighting.When it came to assembling, it takes 2 people and about an hour… assembling the product is very simple. You need to measure the right length above your table and remove the excess chain links. I have 9 ft ceilings and at least half the chain length was removed. You receive all the parts you need to replace an existing light.Now, the problem I had was leveling the light. I nearly returned the product but I was adamant to figure out how to level and straighten the light. It took me another hour to tweak the fixture to make it look leveled and not slanted. I learned that you need to braid the wire really loosely through the chain, otherwise the chain scrunches up. Second is that if you twist loose the rods and play enough with it, then the slant in the light disappears.As for how the fixture looks with lights on, I think the bulbs are somewhat hard to look at, but if I change the bulb watts, then I will get used to it. The fixture is stunning. (It’s also cheaper than the Home Depot brand.)My only wish would be that emlivar would have made black/gold single light mini lanterns to match this. I ended up buying a different brand and will spray paint a part of it to match this fixture.

Read the reviews so I was unsure. Noticed that most of the bad reviews were in relation to the "Antique Gold" model coloring and not the black/gold one. Didn't see any black and gold pictures posted so figured I would.I'm handy but not an electrician by any means and was able to install this by myself with a ladder in under 2 hrs. I did have to make a trip to Home Depot to get a universal adjustable mount so that the light would face the direction I wanted. This was about $5 extra in cost.The color and quality seem good. It's a more dull gold (almost brass) and not bright gold, which is good for me. It's sturdy and no problems with missing parts, bent parts or broken parts as some other reviews reported. I suppose some of those complaints could be due to the way it was handled when delivered so I feel not appropriate to knock the light for that.Didn't really have any directions just a parts list but it's a simple light anyway.Plan to install LED Edison style bulbs but Home Depot didn't carry any in 40w.I also opted to install a dimmer switch on the wall which is included in the total 2hr assembly time. It should be noted that my ceiling is slanted so I had to remove an extra link from the chain on the low side. (They give you tons of extra chain)For the price and quality, if you don't order the antique gold model or have it delivered broken, you will love this light.

This is such a beautiful light fixture. I am in love to say the least. The color tone is perfect and goes great with my home and decore style. Came in great condition and was super easy to install. Had it up in about 30 minutes. It’s just beautiful and if I could give it a higher ⭐️ rating I definitely would! I am so glad to have found this item on here because all the other choices I had were from Wayfair and they were mostly out of stock and way out of budget for me. We did use a dimmable light bulb for our own preference and we bought the e26 60 watt. Hope this helps

Beautiful light fixture, especially for the money. Similar models were almost $100 more on Wayfair and Birchlane. I think this is a good value, it was fairly easy to install, it was a little different going from a round light fixture to a rectangle light fixture because the electrical box was not positioned in the correct direction. The light fixture would have been pointing at a diagonal instead of how we intended in the photos. After we got past that obstacle everything was good. The light arrived in great condition, well packed. I was very pleased with this light fixture. The antique gold was not exactly the color I thought it was going to be when I ordered, but was easily able to repaint with a can of gold spray paint from HomeDepot. The light is light, easy to install, and looks great. One less start because one of the lights was a little slanted compared to the others.

I searched all over Wayfair for a light similar to this but could only find larger ones. When I saw this light fixture I new I had to get it. It is so beautiful in person and I’m glad I chose the black and gold. The gold seems to be a mix of gold/copper so not AS gold and I imagined but I’m ok with that bc it’ll bring out the honey color in our floors. We are doing a white quartz with gray marbled lines so I think it’ll pair perfectly. The directions were easy to follow!

Beautiful! It adds a classy touch to our open kitchen area.The colors, oil rubbed bronze & gold, match our fixtures perfectly!This lamp hangs above our kitchen breakfast counter. It installed much easier than I had expected onto our cathedral ceiling. You will need another set of hands to hold the heavy fixture while connecting the wires.The chains were shorter than stated online but I've decided to stay with length provided.We used daylight dimmer bulbs which provide plenty of task light or just atmosphere in a large room.
