I read several reviews prior to buying this table and chair combo. I read reviews saying it was junk and others saying it was okay so here is my take on the 3-Piece Counter Height Bar Set. I received the package on time so no problems with shipping, the box looked a little beat up but it was packaged well enough that no pieces were damaged. Being an economy set I took my time putting it together so I was careful not to cause damage. The set is press board and not solid wood so it is fairly easy to damage this type of furniture when you are not careful. One of my favorite things about this set is that each hole that required a cam screw is lined with a plastic coating that prevented splitting, chipping, or breakage when installing these screws. I put the chairs together first and they are sturdy and I feel comfortable sitting on the chair and that they are safe enough. The table went together okay and I would say it is also sturdy but not really all that heavy which was a plus. I did use a magic marker to cover up the cams because the silver shows up pretty obviously against the black furniture. Overall I would recommend this product, It is very affordable and I felt is was a good purchase and would purchase again if I needed it.

I love this set, perfect for my new living space, love the extra storage, little tough to put together but figured it out.

Half of the components to build it didn't really fit where they were supposed to,coupled with poor instructions,and a damaged table and a ripped chair. I contacted amazon and they offered a replacement but I would have to dissemble it,send it back in the mail,and then rebuild a new one(which took me three straight hours despite me being really familiar with building furniture) in hopes it wasn't as poorly designed as the first one. It is although a beautiful table,with decently big shelves, and comfortable chairs,and I really like this table,I just wish it came undamaged.

Okie dokie, I'm going to give this 5 stars because I really love the look of this thing put together.. but I hesitated due to how many dang things you have to screw in. lol When I stood back and looked at it in my daughter's college apartment kitchen, was I happy I bought it? Yes. Definitely. But did I want to give up and head to the local bar while I was putting it together? Yes. Definitely. lolI was surprised at how sturdy the chairs were! That was nice surprise. I tightened everything REALLY well, so maybe that's why they were so sturdy, but they seemed like expensive chairs. Love the shelfs on the side and the little hooks for kitchen towels. So over all 5 stars.

I am a pretty handy girl so putting this table together wasn't that much of a challenge. It did take quite some time though. Please keep in mind that the silver pieces to tighten around the screws does not have to be as snug as you might think, post the side wood pieces attached. When you attach the two end pieces to the shelves it will all come together. You can tighten the silver pieces once you have come to this step.I absolutely love the end result. It is extremely sturdy and sits perfectly at the entrance of my kitchen. It creates this small division between the kitchen and living area. Exactly what I was going for. I would recommend this counter bar table to any one who lives in a small space. It is the perfect size. The chairs (seat cushions) are great as well and quite cumfy. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because both chairs have a little wobble to them. Other than that I am so glad I made this purchase for my brand new home.

Love it! I built it myself ... I'm a girl with like no sense for these things but yeah I built it myself and it's beautiful and sturdy as well ... Would definitely get another one so it looks like a bigger bar and table ... Absolutely love it!

Smaller than we thought. Tough to fit with two people with dinner plates. Also not terribly sturdy. Like the chairs though!
