Can you use a 3.5 aux lead to 2 Phonos to connect to a hifi system

Yes this is how I connected it to my bose surround to add dab radio and bonus of bluetooth

I like the dab sound quality but my display says "slide not available" on every station. What can I do if anything?

Can I control the device without the remote?
